Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball

Usually held the last weekend in October, this dress-up ball has become a notorious eventthat continually had to change venues due to popular demand. This has become one of the "must do" events in Las Vegas, along the lines of Studio54 in New York in the late '70's. The FFHB changed locations to the Stardust in 2006, moved from the Las Vegas Sports Center in 2005

Helldorado Days

Established in 1934 to spur "continued interest in Las Vegas" after the construction of Hoover Dam was complete, Helldorado Days was a rodeo that grew into a multi-faceted event including: Dinner and Art Auction, Helldorado Parade, Charity Golf Tournament, Poker Tournament, Trap Shooting Competition, and the Helldorado Trail Ride. Pimp 'n' Ho Ball

Hosted by the Palms at their "Rain" nightclub during Labor Day Weekend, the Pimp 'n' Ho Ball is precisely what you'd expect: people masquerade as Pimps and Streetwalkers and party it up through the night. The party has garnered such a reputation that there is Standing Room Only for entrance into the event.

Trashy Lingerie Party

Another one of the Maloof brothers' creations that's hosted by the Palms Hotel and Casino, this event takes place at the Skin Pool Lounge during the hottest time of the year: late July.  Most social boundaries are crossed at this party and the Party gets rather bawdy and lewd. Not for the faint of heart.

World Series of Poker

The granddaddy of all poker events, this annual Poker Championship has found a great following among both professionals and amateurs looking to strike it rich. The event is hosted by Harrah's and begins in late June, concluding with the "Main Event," a multi-million dollar poker tournament, in August.
