This is a great show for both children and adults. A small part of it is a bit dull but not worth worrying about. Seats in the theater have speakers in the headrests to add subtle sound effects to the stunning visuals.
Unlike other musicals, this is a show of visual effects, with performers flying around and the stage moving vertically. The show begins before the actual performance, with the performers literally swinging from the rafters, playing instruments and interacting with guests in the audience. Arrive a bit early for the full experience.
Ticket prices range from $50.00 to $165.00. The KA Theater seats approximately 1500 guests, and it would appear there are really no 'bad' seats. Tickets can be purchased directly inside the MGM Grand Casino, near the KA Theater, and appear to be available the day of the show you would like to attend, although the lines at the ticket counters get very long as show times approach. If you prefer, Show & Dinner packages are also available and can be purchased on line. These include a set menu at your selected restaurant and KA tickets.
It will be helpful if children are briefed about the story/plot before the show. Show Guide is $20.
Be aware that there is no intermission; go to the restroom before the start of the show. Bringing in drinks and popcorn, etc. is permitted. Photos are not permitted inside the KA Theater; ushers resort to public humiliation to make guests stop using their cameras, so beware.
