Here's a compiled list of food for people who appreciate a bargain. While most of these specials have been in place for long periods of time (the prices were current in June), they are of course subject to change - either being eliminated or the price going up; both Fiesta casinos seem to change their specials quite often, as does the Cannery and Marilyn’s Café at the Tuscany. For many of these, at least one member of the party must have the casino’s slot card and many are available only to persons 21 years of age and older.

A few words on buffets - Most Las Vegas hotel/casinos have buffets. The prices vary greatly as does the quality. Most have champagne brunches on the week-ends (some on both Saturday and Sunday, some Sunday only). Six of the buffets are considered gourmet-quality (Aladdin (This hotel has been bought by Planet Hollywood so watch for changes), Bellagio, Paris, Wynn Las Vegas, Mirage, and Treasure Island) and are priced accordingly with lunch from about 15 to 20 dollars and dinner from the low 20's to about 30. The buffet at the Rio is almost as expensive and is probably the most popular in town (the Rio also has a separate seafood buffet that is only open for dinner and which is $34.99) . Possibly the best one for the money is Green Valley Ranch (pricier than most, but very good quality); it’s particularly good for week-end brunch. Another popular (but very pricey) buffet is Bally's Sterling Brunch on Sundays.  The menu contains items such as champagne, sturgeon caviar, lobster, and freshly prepared sushi, along with the standards ,such as omelets and beef tenderloin  A popular, lower-priced buffet is the one at the Orleans, although it has slipped a little recently. In general, if a casino has Station in its name its buffet will be pretty good (Palace Station and Boulder Station are a little behind the others). Buffets which are usually considered among the worst are the Lady Luck (this hotel is closed for extensive renovation), and Imperial Palace (This property is now owned by Harrahs, so it could have improved).
