Getting There

It is easy to get to the French Riviera by airplane or train. There are two airports in the French Riviera: in Nice and in Monaco. Nice is a good, central location from which to begin your explorations and the airport is a quick cab ride away from most accomodations. There are also shuttle buses and public transportation buses available. There is also the option of flying into Marseille and then taking a bus from there, or from other close-by towns you might explore such as Aix-en-Provence. The bus ride from Aix-en-Provence to Nice is approximately 2 hours and is a wonderful opportunity to see the landscape. Easyjet is a cheap, reliable airline to use if flying from Paris.

If you wish to take the train from Paris, 6-8 TGV trains leave the Gare de Lyon in Paris for Nice daily. The trip is approximately 5 hours long.

A boat shuttle service to St-Tropez and St-Raphael is available through Air France making it easy to access these must-see locations!
