Despina, her family , and staff run an outstanding small hotel on a perfect site at the edge of the caldera in Santorini. The place is immaculate, the service is attentive and kind. Their advice regarding restaurants , sites, and transportation on the island is always useful. The continental breakfast is great. The pool and lounges are wonderful and relaxing. This is a great spot for active individuals who would also enjoy the beautiful hike to Oia and the walks into Fira. The town bus does stop a short walk from the entrance also, but note that the bus is often packed with people providing for a chance to meet many visitors and local residents "up-close"! This was probably the nicest spot to stay on the island.

I booked because of the reviews, which were unanimously exuberant. Indeed, the expectations were met.
This is particularly because the complex is very well managed by the wonderful and endearing Despina, which we thought was very charming. The grounds of the apartments are thoroughly cleaned everyday, it is spotless. The breakfast we found particularly good. The view from the pool is just magic, especially when you are in the hot tub !

We stayed at Anastasis Apartments for 4 days, and was a fantastic time.
The weather, pool, views, accommodations, facilities, service, hospitality, everything perfect.
For dinner and to discovery the island we follow the wise recommendations from Despina and her staff. Nothing better than a local to show you all the secrets.

To end the only thing a say is "Was the most relaxing time ever!"

Only arrived home yesterday from Santorini after a 1 week stay with Despina & staff. We are already missing the place!

Made so special by Despina,Katerina, Victor & of course despina's husband. They are all such kind & friendly people, running a beautiful place of which they are so rightly proud. (The attention to detail is amazing.)
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a place to stay for a relaxing, luxurious & enjoyable holiday on a charming island.
We are hoping to return in the not too distant future........
