Only arrived home yesterday from Santorini after a 1 week stay with Despina & staff. We are already missing the place!
We can only echo all the other positive reviews already posted.
We had a wonderful time!
Made so special by Despina,Katerina, Victor & of course despina's husband. They are all such kind & friendly people, running a beautiful place of which they are so rightly proud. (The attention to detail is amazing.)
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a place to stay for a relaxing, luxurious & enjoyable holiday on a charming island.
We are hoping to return in the not too distant future........

A belated review as we stayed last August on honeymoon and only just signed up to Trip Advisor. All the other reviews say it well, amazing location, great accomodation, our ground floor room was a suite in all but name. Despina and family/staff perfect hosts, her husband gave us a lift to the port when we were running late for our boat trip. Breakfast on the terrace great; beer, soft drinks, bottled water delivered to poolside/room at minimal cost.

Only be aware that you'll need to drive/taxi for dinner as only one restaurant is walkable.

Best place to stay on Santorini.

We stayed at the Anastasis appartments for 1 week at the end of June in a Junior Suite. They had been highly recommended by a friend who stayed last year and certainly did not disappoint. Despina the owner & the staff (especially Katerina & Victor) could not be more helpful and were always there with a smile and free Greek Lessons. They show genuine concern for their guests & always make time to assist with recommendations for restaurants, arrange transport or just pass the time of day. The whole place is spotlessly clean & is absolutely perfect for a relaxing & peaceful break - if you want to party go elsewhere!

If you want to get out and about then the bus is fine or take some good shoes & sunscreen and walk to Oia or Fira.

Recommend Flame for long lunch and Ambrosia Nectar for best food & service.

What more can we say that hasn't already been said, the Jacuzzi at sunset, breakfast on the balcony, caldera view etc.

Will definitely be back someday soon.

I have to go along with all the other reviews. This place really is fantastic! We have wanted to visit Santorini for a while but never got around to it then on the spur of the moment in April we decided to book Anastasis Apartments. Despina only had one room available and we had to change our dates slightly but what a good choice! We actually had the smallest room in the place and normally that would be a downer. Not at Anastasis Apartments! Goodness knows what the suites must be like! We were delighted with our room. It was so snowy white I was nervous of making it grubby! We need not have worried. We found out from Despina that as well as the general cleaning (which is immaculate) her staff spray the rooms three times a day to ensure that no insect or mozzie finds its way in - and it certainly works. This probably the only Mediterranean holiday I have had where I had no insect bites at all.

Everything you want from a hotel is there. The staff are unfailingly cheerful and always available. Caterina gave us a very detailed breakdown of the island with frank and helpful recommendations of restaurants, walks, trips and general information. Victor looks after his pool area as if it were a child. He is always on hand to open an umbrella, move a table, bring drinks, fish a leaf out of the pool and generally tidy the already immaculate garden. Despina has a great sense of humour and we loved her Greek lessons! She even gave us her mobile phone number to call in an emergency and I can't think of many hoteliers who would do that.

We actually tried to extend our holiday, it was so good. We managed to find some later flights but unfortunately (and not surprisingly) Despina was fully booked so we couldn't stay on and we didn't want to go anywhere else. So give yourself a treat, stay here!
