Our first impressions were Wow!!! The view from the hotel rooms are stunning, looking out across the bay. We asked for a top floor room and we were very pleased. The room had a separate bedroom, large wardrobe and a safe, the separate lounge had a comfortable settee, tv, and behind folding doors, a fridge, crockery and cutlery, and you can hire a kettle from reception. There is a shower room with toilet and the most amazing jaccuzi that is situated between the shower room and lounge, so you can soak away with a gin and tonic looking out over the bay, bliss!!! My husband is a fussy eater, but no need to worry, there is plenty of choice at both breakfast and dinner, try the quiche for breakfast, it's yummy. A good choice for dinner with at least 5 different meats, and the chick pea soup is lovely. We visited the Spanish square several evening, about 5 mins walk, where there was nightly entertainment, but it does get rather noisy, so we visited the irish bar across the road, with live irish music, great!! The staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we broke the safe one day and reception had someone to our room within 10 mins to repair it. We will be returning to the Jardin Del Sol for sure.
