“Nothing fancy, but reasonable”

Excalibur Hotel & Casino

Room and bathroom were good size and clean. As far as decor, it's nothing special and perhaps bordering on a little outdated so this is probably not the room for you if you're looking for the most modern look. However, it was reasonably comfortable. I actually did a walk-in, should have booked online. I would have saved a few dollars if I had. Front Desk staff was reasonably friendly. In any case, the price was pretty reasonable to be on the Strip. Would I stay again? Other than I would like to try other hotels just for the sake of checking them out, I would have no reason to not stay.

We (family of 4) stayed there for two nights. The room is worse than motel 6. Our bathroom sink was clogging, it took us two hours and several calls before we were able to change rooms. The staff was rude and gave run around for any complains. It is rundown, and crowded hotel. A.C. in our room was noisy and did not work properly. There are 6 Internet computers in the hotel only one worked. We will not stay with them again.

I spent a fabulous 6 nights at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino in April 2007. The service was fantastic and I could not find a fault with anything. The room was clean and cosy with a stunning view of the strip. Besides some traffic noise it was surprisingly quiet.
I ate daily at the many resturants on the second floor and was always happy with my meals and service.
It has an awesome location and was close to many attractions, transportation was easily accessable. The Tournament of Kings is a must see experience.
I could not have asked for a better base to explore Las Vegas and would most certainly stay there again.

Even though the hotel is a bit dated and cheesy, you could get a nice strip view room at a decent price. We stayed in a newly renovated room with a 42'' flat screen TV and a view of New York, New York and MGM Grand. The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the view at night.

“Don't ugrade- it isn't worth it”

Excalibur Hotel & Casino

If you happen to get a good deal at the Excalibur, do not take the upgrade they offer you at check-in. The only upgrade difference I noticed was a new tv and marble counter tops in the bath room.
