They charged me an extra $5 a night for a "resort fee" saying it is mandatory to offer the services that they do. I thought that was what the price was for. My stay was only $29, so $5 increased the price by about 18%. Also, it is the principle of the thing. Hotel managers listen up. If you are going to charge something automatically to each room, then it is not fair to exclude that charge from the advertised price.

I should also mention that there was over a half hour wait to check in, the staff was not friendly, and it was over a city block from my car to the elevator that took me to my floor. The only this place has going for it is location, but there are better hotels nearby.

This hotel is not one of the better hotels, I would recomend another hotel. It is very loud confusing layout and the underpaid bartenders really are rude in particular Hout at the Lounge near tower II, My boyfriend and I walked away feeling upset . If your spending alot of money to visit Vegas spend it somewhere else. Thank you for reading this review.
No matter what hotel you stay at take alot of money for food and water :)

I played at the electronic poker tables at Excalibur during my first Vegas trip in December so I decided to stay there this time. I paid $29/night for my room. At check in I slipped a $20 in my ID wallet and asked if they had any complimentary upgrades. She made a call and told me they would upgrade me (to a Widescreen Tower Room). She handed back my ID and the $20 and then asked "oh, is this for me?" I told her it was and thanked her for her help.

The room was better than expected. It overlooked the 4 pools and the parking area. I liked the fact that there was an 18-and-over pool and it was not very busy. The queen size bed was VERY comfortable. I had originally booked a king but didn't really care. The widescreen tv was nice and the furniture (dresser, table, 2 plush velvet chairs) was functional. The A/C was loud when I arrived but I turned it to Low and slept well.

My only real complaint is the window coverings. There is a blind over the window that leaves gaps along the edges. The curtains are decorative and do not cover the window. I tucked them into the sides of the blind to cover the gap. It still let some light in but didn't wake me up. I just thought it was strange.

The hotel was very quiet. The elevators were a little slow. The time share people did not talk to me once. I heard one guy tell another guest that they "have deals for families with children" or something to that effect. They did seem to be approaching families a lot.

Overall this was a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I have stayed here twice and both times I paid about $110 night to stay in the Jacuzzi suite. With the upgrade the hotel was very nice. There are much nicer hotels on the strip, but I have found some of the best deals here. I do however recommend to get the upgrade. I have seen the knights show about 3 teams. To be honest it is very historically inaccurate and cheesy. It however is a relatively inexpensive show and it is fairly entertaining. Just don’t go in there with high expectations of seeing anything remotely realistic. The location of the hotel is good, but not great. It is on the strip, but it is a good walk to a love of the more popular locations. With all of this being said it is a good place to go if you are trying to save money. I however would stay away from most of the restruants in the hotel, they do not compare to the other places on the strip. I ate at the buffet once and I would not do it again even when it is free.
