Stayed here for 4 nights in March with my husband a two kids. The room was very clean are comfortable. The theme was consistent throughput the whole hotel, which was good fun. The Roundtable buffet was a great place to eat, reasonable prices and lots of choice. We would highly recommend it!

The Excalibur was great. It is up the good end of the strip and in walking distance to all the other good casino's. The rooms were big and nice.

I rated the Excalibur above average because of the price per night. I found a $49 per night rate on the Excalibur web site. This was my first trip to Las Vegas and I was impressed by the fairy tale castle look of the outside of the hotel. The room was good sized although nothing special and somewhat dated. The bathroom only has a large shower, no tub. The beds were hard and not too comfortable but if you don't spend much time in your room, it is not that important. I actually had a nice view from my room window. It is kind of a long walk to the elevators and rooms in the towers, but the room itself was very quiet. I did not hear any hallway or outside activity when I was in the room.
The Casino was huge, lively and fun, although it reeked of smoke. We received a coupon at checkin for a two for one buffet dinner and found that to be a good value. There were a lot of activities going on, too many to fit everything in. I liked the location of the hotel, between the Luxor and New York New York.

Stayed at the Excalibur for 3 nights....have visited vegas on trips, only staying 1 night previously in Circus,Circus! After mulling over reviews, prices, location on strip etc, I plumped for the Excalibur, 3*, top of the strip & affordable!

On arrival was quickly checked in but a little disappointed with the room as the view was the roof of the casino & the back of the turrets! So went for lovely lunch in their buffet, cheap & plentiful & clean, as was the rest of the hotel/casino,then went to "BEG" for another room with a better view, we did get moved immediately to a partial view of the strip...MGM,NY NY, & the airport...which was brilliant, cost an extra $10 per night, but well worth it.

The rooms were lovely & clean, bed comfy, shower good, housekeeping efficient, security good, the pool...although a long walk thru the casino as it was in tower 2...we were in tower 1, was lovely, clean, spacious, snack bar sufficient & not overpriced! (Rooms just starting to look a little bit worn around the edges, but hey, they see some people!) Shops were nice, casino good, felt at home, no winnings tho!! Staff all pleasant!

Didn't have time to do the "Tournament of Kings" a jousting dinner evening, but thought at $57 a bit overpriced! Oh, the hotel has a lovely spa centre to which we received a free visit to use the spa, sauna, steam room, showers & a room with all the "stuff" us girlies need to pamper ourselves, lotions & potions & it was lovely!

Only one BIG problem....Didn't want to come home!!!

Although my Mom and I went in February on a last minute trip, I'm just getting around to adding in my 2 cents. We stayed at the Excalibur because it was hard to get rooms anywhere for Superbowl Sunday and it was already Friday afternoon. The Funjet representative put me on hold while she called the hotel and got us a great rate for 5 nights. I found out later that if I had called the hotel directly I would have gotten an even better rate. I'll make sure I call the hotel directly first next time. The check-in went very fast. There were lots of clerks available. She asked if we wanted a low floor or high floor and we choose the high floor and had a great view of the airport and the Luxor. Our room wasn't ready because we had landed at 9 am but we were assigned a room and told to come back after 3pm to pick up our keys. Another short line. The room was clean. We had no complaints. We checked at the front desk the night before we were checking out to make sure there were no extra charges on our bill. Another very short line. Who's checking in or out at midnight? We then dropped off our keys in the self service checkout box located near the elevator and we were on our way. No wait at all!
I would like to add that we usually ate only one meal a day and then a small snack. I would highly recommend the Bellagio for the lunch buffet. It was just under $20 with tax but they had so many items of exceptional quality to choose from and it was very satisifying and obviously a better deal than paying the higher price for the dinner buffet. We ate there twice during our trip. My husband and I are planning a 25th anniversary trip in August and the Bellagio lunch buffet will be the first and maybe only buffet I'll be taking him to.
