stayed from a Saturday to Wednesday and all of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Nice to have security at the elevators to the towers. they did check to see our room key before we went up. There was even a fight right as we were getting out of the elevators at one point and security was all over the two guys in a flash. (some unexpected excitement). We ate at the buffet which really wasn't that great, but it wasn't horrible. If you get a chance, check out Dick's in the lobby, man that was a FUN restaurant for the smart a** in all of us. (a review for another time) Back to the rooms, the bathroom was very nice size for three women. Lots of counter space and space to move around (compared to the Fremont which was super small). The beds were pretty lumpy, but we were so tired that it didn't bother us much at all. Housekeeping staff really nice when we asked for extra towels and pillows. Bell staff pleasant. Valet was decent and quick. Can't beat the price for the location!!

We thought the whole Excalibur experience was fantastic, we had a lovely romantic wedding, the friendly helpful staff couldnt do enough, we were given a queen room on arrival I telephoned reception to ask for a king room and the key to our new room was delivered within 10 mins, and of course the price. Although it is one of the cheapest hotels you wouldnt know it, our room was cleaned and towels replaced daily and staff always had a smile and were very helpful, Tournament of Kings and the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay Hotel are a must as is the free lightshow on Freemont Street. It was our first time in Vegas and we wouldnt hesitate to go back and although we went round a few of the other more upmarket hotels we will be returning to the Excalibur. Watch out for the people offering free show tickets as it involves half a day looking around a new complex (timeshare)

We came to Vegas back in late July... so it was REALLY hot ... but we had a fantastic time. The Excalibur was clean and the staff was friendly. Buffet was not bad, but a little pricey. Tournament of Kings dinner show was WELL WORTH it! Kids had fun in the arcade. Great pool area! For the price we paid, we couldn't turn this one down! We had a widescreen room in tower II and it was very nice. Hotel is a little north of a lot of the "action" on the strip, but there was plenty to do in the same area. Besides, who goes to Vegas and doesn't plan to walk the strip? All in all, I was pleased with this hotel and I would stay there again.

I stayed in this hotel for a week, we were there for a wedding. Hotel is very nice from outside, and inside is comfortable. The downsides were, we were on the ground floor and we had cockroaches!! I would advise you avoid the ground floor! Also it was really cold in the hotel at nights and everything was overpriced! We had to wait a long time for taxis too. Everything else was fine though! I enjoyed my stay but i would book into another hotel if i had to go back to vegas.

This hotel is reasonably priced and as we were in vegas over a weekend it was great to not have to pay extremly high prices. Rooms were comfortable enough and we requested 2 adjoining rooms and the hotel obliged. cleaning staff cleaned room late in the afternoon, which suited us very well. Hotel itself is very average, the location isnt the best, you are far down the strip and we found we needed to walk a long way to get anywhere... even to the monorail (which is very good service)
