My husband and I stayed at Mirage for 3 nights and had wonderful, wonderful time!
Convenient location, delicious buffet (you gotta try the Cravings),
spacious room, great pool, nice bars...etc.

Housekeeping left a rug in our room when we checked-in, but not a big deal. People make mistake, right? and bath room is smaller than I thought, but it was ok. The only thing I was disappointed with the Mirage was concierge service, which wasn't very helpful to find a restaurant I wanted to go and seemed like they have no willing to help me.

Overall, the MIrage was great, and I will definately stay at the Mirage again in future.

We expected a litte more luxery, even though we booked the cheapest room ($195.00/night including tax). The 21st floor room was basically a small, unspectacular motel room, i.e; a small room with a small bathroom, only one sink, no refrigerator (except for the mini bar that you can't move anything inside without being charged for the contents), and no view of the Las Vegas strip. The outside air temperatures climbed to 107-113 degrees, probably causing the hotel air conditioning system to overwork, and making our room unable to cool down at night. The desk clerk told us we could pay for an upgrade room with a view the next day, but we couldn't change rooms the Friday when we checked in. The next day we were told that there were no rooms available to change to.
On a positive note, the hotel's "Cirque du Solei-Beatles LOVE" show was excellent, and we highly recommend it. The hotel, its casino, and restaurants were all overcrowded, as was the whole Las Vegas strip. I recommend if you stay here, you reserve a room with a view, and stay on a weekday; avoid the weekends.

OK, We are from the UK so the room was more than large enough, as was the bathroom (what do you want to do in there!!).
It was cleaned twice a day and the mini bar price was no more epensive than any of the hotel bars (Mirage or otherwise).
The location is 100%, ideal for everything. Food in Mirange average, but your goning to want try all hotels anyway and I would reccommend the Paris (sit outside) and for a good night out try "Toby Keith's" at Harrahs.
So....no complaints, room clean and tidy and large eonough, faciltities in hotel great, staff great. Go there, you won't be dissaponited.
We also had day tips with "Sagebrush range" for a 2 hour breakfast horseback ride, try it, I won't spoil the adventure but you will remember it! Also the Sunset Helecpoter trip to the Grand Canoyon (with Vision), brillient. You HAVE to hire car and take a day trip through Death Valley, can say no more!!!

VIP check in clerk was rude, confrontational and definitely caused our stay to begin on an unpleasant note. Used room service trays were left in hallways for 12 hours or more. Rooms were very clean, well appointed and quiet. Pool area is one of the best in Vegas. Surprisingly, we were still able to find lounge chairs mid day on a Saturday (probably because attendants remove towels from chairs after one hour) and drink service was quick. Enormous tree lined lagoon pool (with water falls that deaden the noise) did not feel especially crowded even with hotel being nearly full. Food and service at poolside restaurant both excellent. 20 to 30 something pool scene was "happening" without being too rowdy. Pool is much less crowded than Mandalay. Overall, would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for the best pool in Vegas this is the hotel for you.

  • Liked — The pool and central strip location
  • Disliked — Rude check in clerk and room service trays in hallways.

We stayed at the Mirage from May 30th thru June 3rd. We had a great stay there. We had a tower room. It was beautiful. I wish we had a better view. Our view was of the parking lot in the back. The room was very clean and was always stocked. The grounds were beautiful. Great location on the strip. If the spa is still open get a massage. It was wonderful. We didn't do very well at the casino. All in all we had a great stay here.No complaints here.
Traveling thru all of the other casinos I would stay at the Rio next time. It is off the strip but a better hotel for the younger crowd. That is here the party was at. Bowling there was a blast. Hope this was a help to you.
