After booking through the Mirage website and booking a King, non-smoking room but not getting it at check-in we were very disappointed. They said they had no more non-smoking rooms and offered us an "optional" smoking room with two queen beds. Upon entering the room it smelled like smoke and our throats hurt. They offered to do some sort of treatment to it if we could leave for 1-1/2 hours. We had to get dinner anyway so said okay. Upon our return the room smelled like smoke and an old man's cologne. Gross. I called the front desk again and said that we would like to check out as we were not happy (I had reservations elsewhere anyway). They then offered to move us to a non-smoking floor (gee, they didn't have any non-smoking rooms available) with a king bed. This room was really nice and extremely comfortable. We are glad they moved us but disappointed that they gave us a run around.

The location of the Mirage is wonderful and their pool has lots of loungers and the staff helps to find you a spot (the pool is very crowded). The casino is average as well - we preferred the Wynn.

We ate at Kokomo's. Nothing more than average food that is expensive with lack of atmosphere. We also ate lunch at the Cravings buffet which was surprisingly excellent.

We would stay here again if we got the same room we were eventually given without the hassle but since there are so many other hotels in Vegas we'll undoubtedly stay somewhere else next time. I hear the Venetian and Wynn calling my name.

Just back from a week stay at the Mirage. I have come to really love this hotel. I have been to Las Vegas many times starting back in 1988 and this hotel has been a favorite of mine for some time now.

The hotel staff is helpful, friendly and always has a smile of greeting when you encounter them. The restaraunts and casino are top notch. I really enjoyed the Revolution Lounge and Stack.

The only minor complaint that I had this time was that the rooms were not made up in a timely manner each day. I realize the hotel was full but they were a little lacking in this area this visit.

The casino is less smokey than most I encountered and I always enjoy the Dolphin Habitat and The Secret Garden. And let's face it, the location cannot be beat.

Check in and check out were fast - less than 15 minutes to check in and about 5 to check out. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I highly recommend this hotel.

I would also recommend a stay in their tower deluxe rooms. The others have very small bathrooms, but the tower rooms have a huge bathroom with Jacuzi tubs.

I also appreciated the chocolates and flowers with turn down service. I cannot say enough.....I LOVE THE MIRAGE!!!!!

After seven wonderful years of staying at the Mirage this one was terrible. The class of people has changed dramatically and the service has as well.
My friends and I stayed from 4/3 to 4/9 and from the minute we arrived it was a mess. Check in went well and we had a room right away. The rooms have not changed over the years but they are clean. The room was always clean for us and as for that we had no trouble.
The pool was a nightmare! We were up and on line for a chair by 7 a.m. every morning and the pool does not open unitl 8. People were fighting over chairs and at one point chairs were being marked with the time you got off of it. Now i understand that this is because people hold chairs and then go back to sleep but we were being held hostage by our chairs and could not get up to go int the pool with out worrying about out stuff. the cafe by the pool took 45 minutes to serve you and the coffee house had a line over an hour long so if you wanted coffee you were going to lose your chair because the service was slow.
Hotel security was not great either. One of us was pick pocketed right at the table and nothing was done not even a phone call to us. Lets be real they have cameras all over, just tell us that you looked at the tapes.
Anyway the new restaurants were fabulous and STACK is a must but you can always go there if you stay at another hotel. I am saddened that the middle aged will not be catered to anymore because according to the hotel the 21 year old crowd is more important......because they have money............Here is my tip if they put a club in a hotel it will bring an element that is unwanted and sometimes unsafe to the hotel guests.

Arrived in Mid-April. On the good side, hotel is located in really fun area near Ceasars and Bellagio. Hotel lobby and casino are also wonderful and up to date. We compared rooms in area and Mirage was top-dollar, but since it was special occasion decided to do it. This was a mistake given that room was extremely small and had not been updated in a very long time as evidenced by carpet and bed-spreads. A better option would be to stay at another hotel in general vicinity like Treasure Island (also owned by MGM-Mirage), Imperial Gardens, Flamingo Hilton, Ceasars, or Bellagio.

room not clean when we arrived - worn sheets - tiny bathroom - Very loud unattractive lobby. Crowded in lobby. Pool crowded. The only thing I enjoyed was the spa, which was nice.
