Love to stay at the Mirage...unlike some of the other large casino hotels, everything at Mirage is easily accessible...don't have to walk forever to get to lobby, etc. Great shopping at Forum Shops and Fashion Show mall. Our suite was huge, and decorated in very tasteful contemporary design; perfect for our Girl's Getaway. The bed is the most comfortable I have every slept on (Sealy Posturepedic pillow top). Staff was great at accommodating our late check out request. Staff at hair salon do a fabulous job, and it is quite reasonably priced. Concierge got us great seats at "O" at Bellagio. We had a wonderful time, and will definitely return.

First time staying at the Mirage, room was real clean, great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sorry did not take any pictures but no complaints. If you want a great sandwich at the deli do recommend it for sure. Buffet was unreal pricey but delicious.
As far as the rest of Vegas goes all depends on what you make of it, every time I go I am making plans for next my next trip there. I hear lots of people saying how pricey Vegas is, for water, drinks and food ect. there are so many deals out there so do you homework before you go. I would stay here again no question just want to check out the other hotels just to do so. We went last weekend of Nov seemed to be a bit of slow time for Vegas and not a lot of huge lines ect. compared to the busy months.

Spent three nights at the Mirage. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice, spatious well designed rooms (unfortunately view on the backside of the hote). A bit crowdy around the pool area, but no real complaints whatsoever. Very good price/quality.

My wife and I stayed at the Mirage from June 7-12. We decided to go and booked just two weeks before our trip and we were not disappointed. Overall we had a great vacation, my first time in Vegas and my spouse's first since childhood. Staying at the Mirage was a highlight, the location was terrific right on the strip, and the hotel met all our expectations.

Check-in: The cab driver at the airport gave us an option to take the strip to the hotel or the freeway, and even after reading on the forum that the strip route was cheaper, we decided on the freeway because we had a take off time of 5:30 AM and were eager to get the hotel as quick as possible. The freeway route proved to be good because that takes you to the side entrance and right to the check-in area. Being Vegas newbies the front entrance might have been a little overwhelming because of how busy it is and how tired we were from an early flight.
We arrived a 12:00 noon, walked right up to the desk and were checked in quickly. Our room was ready for us that early, and the friendly and helpful receptionist told us about the room, how to get there, and about how the bar fridge works. Smooth check in.

Room: We loved the room instantly, room 20061, large bed, sitting area, clean bathroom, big flat screen t.v., and a decent view out the back of the hotel. We started our days early and used the room mid day for relaxing and recharging for the evening. It was mostly quiet and was a great place for a break. I have commented on hallway noise in other reviews, this hotel was better than most.

Housekeeping: The room was done promptly and efficiently each day usually in the morning, no complaints.

Restaurants/ Room service: We ate at Cravings twice, BLT burger, Carnegie Delicatessen, and had coffee and snacks at the Roasted Bean every morning. We had to leave Stack because the stereo was too loud.
Cravings was great, lots of buffet options and constant refills of sparkling wine was a nice afternoon treat.
BLT burger was also good, good service great burgers and an extensive beer list.
We didn't like the Carnegie Delicatessen, only tried it once so there may have been better choices on the Menu.
The Roasted Bean has great coffee and pastries, the line-ups were long but move fast. If we got there before 8:30 there were short line-ups.
We ordered room service once, it came quick and was hot and was presented well.

Other: The lush and tropical ambiance of the hotel made for a relaxing atmosphere despite the noise of the casino and the constant foot traffic throughout. The volcano is a must see. All the waterfalls were working. The pool was big and not too crowded. The Cirque -Love Show was awesome. The hotel's location on the strip is excellent, you walk outside and you are right in the action of the strip. The Gift shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. The Secret Garden is O.k.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Mirage, I would recommend this resort highly. Vegas was a blast for us, Freemont street and touring other hotels was a gas. We like to stay at different places however we will probably stay at the Mirage again when we return to Vegas. My first five star review.

I stayed at the Mirage from June 24 - 29 and had a beautiful experience. I booked maybe 3 weeks before and got a great deal on the room with about 25% the regular rate and a couple hotel credits. This was my first time in Vegas with one friend, going to visit my two brothers who live out there. We enjoyed every moment at the Mirage with it's Tropical Theme and lush waterfalls. First off, We had a speedy checkout minus one error that was cleared up quickly. The only problem I had was that walk to the elevators. You have to walk thru the casino and all that awful cigar and cigarette smoke before you reach the elevators. then when you get to your floor its another long walk depending on how far your room is. We asked for a high room with pool view. The room was very clean, spacious and includes its on AC thermostat and IPOD dock, the bathroom isnt small, at least not for two college students who just came to party & shop. The TV is really nice, the beds very comfy, like a big dreamy cloud, sooooo comfy! (Check our pics). All the staff were helpful and went above and beyond to help us and even to wish us a great day. One in particular, Claudia, became a new friend when I caught the flu out there (bummer!), she provided us with towels and daily tips for getting better. The hallways were cold as winter though, and the ice machine was very far for us since we were almost at the end of the hall. We basically checked the whole hotel, the buffet is really disgusting, no lies about that, luckily we had a food credit. Dont waste ur money there unless you like dry, unseasoned food. The BLT Burger place was delicious and had superb service. But if the hotel food is'nt ur choice, there is plenty within walking distance. The casino was good except for alot of people just hogging 2 or 3 machines at once, ridiculous! The pool is magical. All of the waterfalls were working every day we were there but you have to get up early to get a seat. The lifeguards told us people are lined up at 8am sharp for seats so I guess you just have to use your discretion on time. Be aware that if you leave your seat, people will move your stuff and take your seat, Trust me, it happened to us. Other than that, the pools were very nice, big and clean, especially the whirlpool :o)...We didnt really like the Bare pool, kinda cocky atmosphere. The hotel gives alot of free passes to the clubs so we got one 2 bare. Drinks there are really yummy. the whole topless thing was pretty pointless to me, there were just older people showing off there boobies and young people dancing to rap music they had no idea about, seats are only by reserve so we sat at the bar mostly. The clubs in the hotel (jet & revolution) are realllyyyyyy nice. Jet is really strong on security which is cool, and the crowd is staright out of MTV spring break. Drinks are strong and if your a lady you can get 2 free drinks from the hotel. Revolution is a bit more mature and there were alot of b-boy dancing, but still nice music. The Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat gets a B- simply because it could use more. It really is beautfiul and very interesting but would pull more towards families with children not two 21 year olds. We literrally walked thru it under 20 mins and left, if not from a hotel credit, we wouldve passed it up. It could use an additional section as an improvement. The hotel itself is a bit of a walk from places like the bellagio and NY NY, which in 100 and something degree weather, seemed to be unbearable, but it is close to the fashion show mall and ceasars forum shops and all that lovely stuff, which I found to be very convienent. Oh and if your trying to get over to treasure island or the walkways take the free convienent Tram, it runs like a gem. Also the Volcano was another wonderful sight to see at night. Checkout was successful and only one minute. Overall, if your looking for cleanliness, beauty and a stress-free stay...Go to the Mirage! :o)
