We stayed at The Venetian for 2 nights (Wed-Thurs). I booked a package online that included the room and tickets to The Blue Man Group.

Overall, I would have to say that the property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are stunning and the bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. We spent an afternoon at the pool (sorry, I don't remember the name, but it's to the left as you walk through the door and past the tanning bench pool), which was very refreshing and well kept. The staff at the pool was very friendly and efficient.

During our stay we ate at 2 restaurants - Grand Luxe Cafe and Postrio. Both were very good and we received great service at both restaurants as well.

The only negative for us was the housekeeping department. I felt that the furniture was a little dusty, which I found odd for such a nice property. Also, we had our "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door until about 10:30am, which I did not think was that late by Vegas standards, but housekeeping skipped us. I would have found that perfectly understandable, but I had to call down 4 times to get someone to make up the room. We didn't ask for anything special during our stay, and I found it very disappointing that we did not receive better service.

Our last visit to the Venetian deserves a posting to warn others. They are doing construction and updating many of the rooms in the original tower. This will be great when done, but as a guest during this process, its not so great. We were awoken at 6:30 am with scraping and banging from the room above. We complained and eventually got moved, but had no room for the entire day while they were prepping the new room. Avoid the venetian until construciton is done, they are not accommodating at all, and have no problem putting guests directly under the construction.

Stayed here for a conference and fell in love with the place. If I ever go back to Vegas, this is one of my top choices!

I ended up with a room in the Venzia tower and was impressed the moment I walked in the door. My room overlooked a parking garage and the Wynn's golf course, so it was nice and quiet (which is always a plus in Vegas). I arrived early (about noon) on a Tuesday and they were able to get me into a room right away. The Venzia tower rooms included a newspaper and nightly turndown service with chocolates. The shower was spacious and the bathroom was always very clean. My room was always made up before noon each day. All the staff was extremely friendly and always said hello and asked if they could be of assistance.

It was a bit of a walk to the convention/meeting rooms, but I could usually make it in about 5-10 minutes depending on what route I took. The meeting rooms were a bit on the cool side. I guess so it could keep us awake during the sessions, but it would've been nice to be able to quickly step outside for a few minutes to warm up without having to go through the casino or shops to the front doors.

Most of the meals were included in the conference, but I did eat at Grand Lux cafe (owned by The Cheesecake Factory), the Italian bakery in the Canal Shoppes (can't remember the name of the place, but the chocolate croissant and cappaccino definately hit the spot) and had drinks in the bar at David Burke (waitress Nicole was very personable and had some great recommendations). The conference provided meals were not impressive considering the quality of the restaurants within the hotel itself.

I'm not a big gambler, so I only played a few hands of blackjack in the casino, but the dealer was very friendly and even suggested a few places to eat.

The moving walkways to the Strip were not always working. I'm also one of those fast walkers with a long stride, so walking in general in Las Vegas is very annoying to me because the crowds generally move much slower than I do!

Overall, I'd definately considering staying here again.

Stayed for 2 nights (Sun & Mon), for a terrific price (incl entrance to SPA and 20 % reduction at Postrio Restaurant).
Magnificent property, great service, convenient prices compared to other luxury hotels in Vegas

Stayed one night in a Venezia Bella Suite for $179.At this rate it made sense.Room was large and very comfortable and the bathroom had everything you need. The Garden Pool was quiet and relaxing and a nice contrast to the main hotel pool that catered to a younger crowd.
We had breakfast at the Grand Lux Cafe and although the food was good the wait for the food to come from the kitchen was far too long.
The Venezia Tower is advertized as being non-smoking but this proved not to be the case as staff did nothing to prevent smoking around the pool,in the hallways, and in the elevators. This was the only thing that detracted from our stay but it was significant.
