I recently took my mom to Las Vegas for Mother's Day weekend. I thought about the Wynn or THE hotel at Mandalay Bay, but wanted something with an over-the-top, only-in-Vegas feel. And that's what the Venetian provided, and with excellent service to boot!

Everyone, from the workers at check-in to the woman in the souvenir shop who gave my mom tips on how to use a disposable camera, was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was gorgeous (my mom loved the sunken living room, I loved the glass shower). We stayed in the Venezia tower, which is more of a walk from the casino, which didn't bother me, as I like being a little separate from the crowds.

The pool in the Venezia tower was a bit crowded if you got there after 11, but if you managed to snag a cot, it was very relaxing. Visually, the pool is quite beautiful.

Overall, absolutely no qualms about recommending this hotel

The title says it all! Stayed in a Prima Suite (with a view of the Strip) on the 31st floor. The view was amazing - particularly at night. This was a very large suite to say the least. The room was spotless, with a very high level of finish and it had a top class feel in every way. Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping on. Not a sound was heard from adjoining rooms/ corridor etc. I was sorry to leave the place. I would definitely go back to stay at the Venetian when in Vegas. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I have nothing but praise for the Venetian and its staff. You cannot go wrong with this hotel. Absolutely superb. Other hotels' rooms will never be the same again! The Grand Lux Cafe and the Mexican Restaraunt on site were both very good.

A few days of rest and relaxation was not exactly what we planned!
It was a special celebration and the hotel certainly lived up to my expectations. The staff were very pleasant and accomodating. The pool was superb, I could have lounged around for days, but we were in Vegas, so lounging is not on the agenda.

Room was lovely, overlooking the pool. It I had to say anything negative it would be

1. Tthe service at breakfats time in the restaurant at the pool side. Tables that were ready for customers were not being used effectively and people were standing around for 20 to 30 minutes waiting for service. It was aggravating to say the least and many guests voiced the same opinion, so we were not alone in suggesting that they could probably shape up a little. One guest said she had been at the hotel over six times and the same situation had occured each time, so it is not new. Otherwise a pleasant stay,

2. My goodness, why does everthing have to literally stink of smoke? The rooms, the hallways, in between hotels, the clouds of stinky smoking is everywhere. It is particularly unpleasant if you are slightly allergic, but I guess yiou should know that Vegas is not called Sin City for nothing.

We just got back from the Venetian. We stayed in the Venezia Pallazzo Concierge. It was a great room!, The view faced the Mirage, and below was the Valet. We sayed in 11-402 Concierge tower. The room was huge! The concierge offered continental breakfast, we had scones and tea, Canapes with cocktails. Thomas who worked there was awsome, he went above and beyond to take care of us.

We loved the pools, one is cool and one is warm and there were a couple jaccuzzis. We ate at Potrios for our rehearsal dinner, it was very good. We ate at the food courts several times, a little pricey for fast food. And for our reception we had rented a Hospitalty parlor for 3 hours, with a plated dinner. That was terrable! they didn't get anything right, I was very disapointed in the food, service and size of the room (it said it would accomidate 40, we had 26 and felt cramped. We got married on the Bridge in Saint Marks square, it was perfect. out hair makeup and nails were done at the Canyon ranch Salon, they did a great job, but were very expecive. Over all we had a great stay, I felt papered all week long! I cried when we checked out, because I was so happy there! I will be back, and I will highly recomend the Venetian!
