I "heard" the Venetian is the largest resort/hotel in the world. After staying there for a week I would say, if it isn't, I don't want to see the largest. It is impressive in size, service, and amenities, but plan on getting lost. I heard someone try to use their key to enter my room late one night. No worries, I thought, I have done the same thing. A few minutes later house keeping tried to enter my room, but thank goodness I had the door latched. I assume, because it would have been so far to get to the front desk, and it being close to 2 am, this person called and house keeping used their master key to help this person get entry. The door did open, the latch caught, and I heard an accented, "I'm sorry."
The exercise facility is as impressive as the casino. The shopping plaza/mall is something to experience. I couldn't affort to shop there, but it was extremely well done.
If someone else was paying I would stay here again. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. With my own money I don't thing I would pay for a room here and then make my normal contributions to Vegas at the same time.
