I "heard" the Venetian is the largest resort/hotel in the world. After staying there for a week I would say, if it isn't, I don't want to see the largest. It is impressive in size, service, and amenities, but plan on getting lost. I heard someone try to use their key to enter my room late one night. No worries, I thought, I have done the same thing. A few minutes later house keeping tried to enter my room, but thank goodness I had the door latched. I assume, because it would have been so far to get to the front desk, and it being close to 2 am, this person called and house keeping used their master key to help this person get entry. The door did open, the latch caught, and I heard an accented, "I'm sorry."
The exercise facility is as impressive as the casino. The shopping plaza/mall is something to experience. I couldn't affort to shop there, but it was extremely well done.
If someone else was paying I would stay here again. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. With my own money I don't thing I would pay for a room here and then make my normal contributions to Vegas at the same time.

We reserved the Venetian as part of a package through Alaskan Airlines. Our stay was from Mon-Wed. Check in was quick and efficient. We were offered upgrades to a more spacious suite, we did not accept, and did not feel pressured. Instead we stayed with the "standard room" which was anything but standard. Our suite was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious and the toilitries were delightful. Whether it was the housekeeping, conceirge, or waitress, all staff was attentive and we had a wonderful time. The only concern/suggestion to fellow travelers is the hotel does not provide a list of items charged upon check out (most hotels slide this information under your door). Instead you have to get in line and make a request. We did not have time to do this and opted for "express check-out" which made me a little nervous. However, this did not deter from our stay and we would go back to this hotel again. Last note, I've read some reveiws regarding children in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is a place for adults and is not recommended for children.

Just returned from 4 wonderful nights at the Venetian. The standard rooms are spacious and beautiful. I visited my friend's room at the Bellagio and it seemed so much smaller in comparison to the Venetian. The staff was courteous and professional. I was always greeted with a "good morning" when I passed a staff member in the hall. They go out of their way to please.

We stayed at the venetian for 5 nights. At the time, the price was very reasonable for what we got from the hotel. The rooms and facilities are incredible, just like most of the hotels in Vegas, and the Casino and the food court were OK, nothing special. The services could be better. The only setback happened when we left the hotel. We checked out from the hotel, paid our expenses and when we got back to Brazil my credit card bill came with almost 100 dollars in beverages that we did not drink at all. Anyway, besides that, we had a great experience.

We stayed at both Bellagio and Venetian during this trip to Las Vegas, and both of them have very luxurious rooms. Venetian has a more romantic setting though, but the room I got is really far from the main lobby and entrance (there are more than one towers) so I always have to walk very far. But other than that I'm very satisfied.
