Absolutely loved this hotel! Everything from the reception staff to the shampoos was outstanding... we were thoroughly amazed with luxury and elegance of this hotel.
It was quite hard to leave the Venetian as everything you need is right at your fingertips, plus you will not find a more beautiful hotel to stroll around in. The shopping centre that is a replica of Venice is unbelievable, with all your favourite brands
And the pools and Tao beach night/day club is the hippest place to be
I cannot wait to go back to the Venetian and enjoy the best that Vegas has to offer

When we (my parents, aunt, and I) arrived in Vegas, I was a bit disappointed with The Strip. It was way smaller than we all had expected, so we were a little bummed out. That all changed when we entered the Venetian. Fabulous resort. We checked in, and went up to the room. (the hallways are chilly and have the most amazing scent piped through the air) Our jaws dropped; it was one of the biggest and most well-appointed rooms we had been in, especially for the value. 2 Queen beds (the most comfortable I've slept in) a enormous bathroom, and a large living/sitting area. It was great.

The resort, and the adjoining Pallazo, were amazing, it would've taken us DAYS to go through the whole thing. The restaurants were great; our favorites were Mainland(a modern, hip Asian noodle place) and Los Dos Caminos(awesome Mexican.) The shopping in the two hotels was great.
We can't wait to come back.

Massive hotel, as they all are on The Strip. 3000+ rooms.

The rooms are all suites, which have sunken living room area. The room was large, 3 flat screen TVs, huge bathroom. We paid for a Strip View (extra $75 plus tax per night), which may not really be worth it. The Strip View rooms have views of the Mirage, The Palazzo, Treasure Island and the Fashion Mall - you cannot see down the strip to Caesars, Bellagio, Paris, Mirage, Mandaly etc etc

The canal was cool, many people took gondola rides and the number of shops was incredible there were so many and it linked to the Palazzo shops so seemed even bigger. There so many restaurants to choose from also.

The pool area was very nice. There were 4 pools, which each have a different atmosphere.

Great location for walking along the strip. You may need to take the monorail at least one way to go up to the MGM and Mandalay otherwise it would be a long walk there and back.

We took a helicopter trip to Grand Canyon, which was £200/$280 each. Book before you go as it is cheaper for than booking when you are there. Our trip was very good, it left from Vegas airport and took 40 mins to get there and then you have 20 mins flying around and 40 mins back. Much better than driving all the way there and also you get a much better view actually flying into the Canyon.

Would definitely recommend this hotel, it is truly 5 star and a great choice.

We flew down to Vegas for a quick trip for New Years and my wife has always wanted to stay at the Venetian. In the past we've stayed at the Bellagio and she wanted to try something new.

The Venetian has absolutely the best rooms. They are large, clean and spacious. Definitely 5 Star Rooms. The resort itself is immense now that it is connected to the Palazzo. Lots of dining and bars and an ok casino. I wouldn't recommend the casino as the odds there are terrible. I didn't rate the hotel 5 Star because the service was good but not great. Service always suffers in Vegas but it was definitely a step below the Bellagio.

New Years was very crowded. Apparently many young adults from LA come up for the night. It was so crowded that we were barely able to get out of the hotel to see the fireworks. At this time of year we didn't use the pool.

Big Question - Which is better the Bellagio or the Venetian? I personally like the Bellagio better but they both have pluses. The Venetian definitely has nicer rooms as the Bellagio's are beginning to show some wear. The Bellagio has better service. The Bellagio also has much better odds in the Casino. The Venetian has more bars and places to stop and grab a drink. Bellagio in a better location right in the center of the strip.

After waiting online for an hour to check in, and then going up to our room, we had to ask - twice - to switch rooms due to cleanliness of what we found. Won't tell you what the dirt was but it was nasty.
