Spent 4 days at TI Jan.9-13. As We saw it-The Good:The beds were exceptional.Had a room on floor 31(which is 14 stories up) with a Strip view.Beautiful! The location is convenient to shopping at Fashion Mall and to the Mirage(connected by tram).Saw many interesting characters as Adult Film Awards in town.Starbucks and Coffee Shop great for breakfast.Exercise room was well equipped ($20 charge for use).Security at elevator banks in evening kept out intruders. The Bad:Odd air freshener used in casino.Need to do better job with smoke in casino.I have not had a harder time getting a drink in a casino-hire some staff. All in all ,Ti provided excellent accommodations at a reasonable price .We will go back. Warning: check weather reports before you go.It dropped to teens during our stay and some guests were clearly unprepared for any adverse weather.

My husband and I went to Las Vegas for the Comedy Festival and we decided to stay at Treasure Island because it was so close to Caesar's Palace where the Comedy festival was taking place. Upon arrival, we had no lines for checking in and we were whisked away right to our room. We stayed in the deluxe strip view room which had everything the website promises: nice view, upper floor, and marble bathroom. However, the best thing about the room was the bed. TI has the new sensational bed and it is sensational! Its very comfortable and the linens on the bed were nice as well. We also liked the fact that after 7pm you needed to show a security guard your room key before you were allowed on the elevator. This extra security also made the hallways very quiet at night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

  • Liked — The strip view room and the wonderful bed!
  • Disliked — You have to walk through a very smoky casino every time you leave and return

1. Sign up for the Players' Club on the hotel website to receive room discounts and freebies once you arrive.
2. Ask for a strip view room or suite. The hotel is located near the middel of the strip and you can see everything from your room. It is like waking up and looking at a postcard every morning.
3. We ate several meals in The Coffee Shop located next to the casino. All the meals where great. Be sure to have some double chocolate ice box cake.
4. Get same day 1/2 priced show tickets at the 1/2 booth located in the Fashion Place mall connected to the hotel by a walkway. It is near Starbucks.
5. Do not take the strip shuttle bus. The trip from one end of the strip to the other is TOO LONG! Instead take a cab and request that the driver take the "back way". You will save over $5 on your cab ride. If you are in good physical condition walk back most or all of the way and enjoy the sites.!

The TI has improved so much. This is really a great place to stay. If you can find a decent rate, go. The rooms are very nice, beds are oh-so-comfy and the service is much better than most strip hotels. The size of this place is very small compared with it's neighboors and you feel that difference the minute you enter the place. Lines move quicker, staff much friendlier, rooms cleaner. Just a very nice safe, comfortable place to stay. The tower suite we had was great but if you book one, make sure to request STRIP VIEW. Tell them when you check-in or call before you arrive. Two bathrooms, whirlpool tub, closet space galore, nice big dining table. We had some friends come to do a belated christmas and it was the perfect sized room! Casino not all smokey, good shops, and Starbucks next to Ben & Jerrys..Heaven people! CB

  • Liked — Clean, Well cared for property with good service from everyone.
  • Disliked — Small Casino.

I was really impressed by the TI. Upon first arriving, I got a little nervous about the service. My only complaint about this trip was the start...checking in. There was a long line of check-ins and only three people working the front desk. We waited about 25 minutes to check in. (We did arrive for New Year's Eve and I'm thinking that hiccup was due to the crowds for the holidays).

Other than this, the rest of the trip was flawless. We had just a standard suite, the deluxe room. I'm always wondering what the basic room at a hotel will be like, but we were pleasantly surprised. The suite, although a standard size small suite, was very very clean, had an awesome view of the strip, had modern updated decor, and a nice bathroom that had a tinge of luxury. The bathtub is a large tub/shower combination (not a garden tub and separate shower if that matters to you). The room was cleaned great every day.

The hotel and casino always had a pleasant smell, no smoky smells in our opinion. The lobby is nice. The taxi stand moved very efficiently and fast (even if the line was long).

The casino is great. It's not too big and not too small. We felt the machines were not as tight as some of the others we've stayed at. The TI Poker Room is awesome. I highly recommend playing in one of the tournaments they have. The atmosphere is laid back, you don't feel pressure, and the dealers in the room are great. Very personable and the staff is attentive. If you like poker, I'm sure you'll like their poker room.

There are several good places to eat. The buffet "Dishes" was great. Like all Vegas buffets, it was a little expensive, but worth it. Kahunaville is great for lunch. The food there was awesome. Despite having the look of a bar, there is a sit down dining room that is more laid back that isn't visible from the main entrance to the restaurant so don't be fooled. Every 20 minutes or so there is a small water show where the decorative waterfall turns into a lighted water show. It's a small thing to see, but it's kind of neat while you're eating. The pricing is average. Canter's Deli is a fast fix. It is also great for lunch. Their ruben is to die for and their potato salad is good too. It's affordable. If you like Vietnamese food, there's Pho. I personally didn't care for it. You can tell it's quality food, it just didn't meet my taste buds.

The location of the TI is great. There are several shops within the hotel itself. There is a tram that runs between it and The Mirage that is easy to ride on and is free (not to be confused with the Las Vegas Monorail). There are also escalotors that literally spit you out at the Fashion Show Mall, which is nice. It has all the shopping you could want. The TI is right on the strip, so you are also within walking distance of many other hotels and casinos. We walked to The Bellagio, Wynn hotel, The Mirage, and the Venetian to name a few.

The prices for a hotel room at this hotel are among the best I've seen on the strip and let me tell you...it's worth it. I think this may be one of the best values on the strip.
