In general, I liked Treasure Island. Check-in went well, although there was a long line, and I wasn't feeling well after the flight. I asked for a room with a view of the strip, and the rep helping me was more than happy to accomodate. I've found that some hotels on the strip charge extra for a view. Our room was nice, could have been cleaner, but I've found that with most hotel rooms. The view ended up being fantastic. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was large, with excellent water pressure. I would say the only experience that I had that was less than lovely was when on the second day I decided to put a credit card down on the room so I could use the internet. The rep at the front desk seemed a bit impatient when I repeated back to her what she told me, just so I knew I understood. I smiled and kept my patience, and she calmed down and smiled also. Other than that, everyone seemed very friendly. The bellmen were very friendly and helpful, the cocktail waitresses were very nice (as opposed to some very rude ones elsewhere on the strip) and the servers in the buffet were very attentive and nice as well.
The buffet was fantastic- we went for a late breakfast and lingered a bit to chat, so we were able to sample some of the lunch options that came out a bit later. Everything was excellent. Probably the best desserts I've had on a strip buffet.
The location is good, although it is difficult to get in and out of the hotel when the "Sirens" show is going on. Personally, I prefer being a bit more south, closer to Harrah's or Flamingo, but the location of TI was good too, right next to the Fashion Show Mall and across from Venetian.
