I booked my 2 night stay direct with the hotel, for approx. US$60 per night plus taxes.
Check in... my gosh. This obviously wasn't an ordinary day but TI's computer (reservation?) system went down at around noon. I arrived to check in at 5pm and there were hundreds of people waiting to check in, snaked all the way out to the front entrance. Guests that had arrived earlier had been asked to come back in a couple of hours, so there were 5hrs of people waiting by the time I got there. It took 2hrs to get through the line and get checked in. I was arriving for a 7.30pm show at another casino, so my leisurely check in, shower and dine became a mad scramble to get there on time - which I just did with 3mins to spare!
Other than check in, my room was generally ok. Spacious and had a view over The Strips and Siren Cove. Some people have mentioned noise problems in these rooms but I was never ready to sleep before midnight so this did not bother me.
Towels were thin, and pillows had some stains on them - bathroom was also missing a couple of towels. Hallways had many room service items waiting to be collected, generally untidy. This level of service may have been due to the computer problem.
I didn't not spend time at the pool but it looked very average. Very few dining options (Isla looked good though), and nothing available for take-out after 11pm-ish. Nothing special by way of shopping.
Sirens of TI show was tragic - really poor acting/dancing, porn movie level. Check it out, but don't expect much.
For the price, I was happy with the general standard of my room, excluding some cleanliness issues. Excluding check in I was happy with my stay here.
