This hotel was offering a great deal cost wise and overall was decent enough if you have patience. The check in process on a Sunday afternoon took over an hour. There were about 100 people in line and only 3 attendents working. The maid woke me up one morning by trying to enter the room at 8:10 a.m. Luckily I had the lock bar on and she quickly went away. The clock in the room didn't work and the front desk wasn't sure how to set the time. The time was never set the entire stay. The location is great. Good location. The food at the pool wasn't that great. Everything tasted fried and greasy. The cafe had decent food however and the room service was good. The attitudes in the restraunts weren't that great. Everyone seemed annoyed.

I should state first off that I didn't go to Las Vegas for the typical LV experience. We were flying in and out of LV in order to drive to southern Utah. We decided to stay at Treasure Island because we were going to the Cirque du Soleil show that was associated with the hotel. The Cirque show was fabulous, of course. As for Treasure Island- the price was right- very cheap- and the room was really nice. It felt very luxurious, especially for the price. But there was a huge line for check-in and only three people working reception. This was after being trounced on by three or four guys at once when pulling into the registration drive-in. Why have so many people working to help you park if you just have to wait in line once you get inside? I just can't understand why a hotel would want to make you angry upon immediately walking in. Getting the Cirque tickets was the same deal. Everyone who had will-call tickets had to wait in a huge line- it took close to a half hour just to pick up the tickets. Again, it seemed totally unnecessary. The pool was frightening. There were hundreds of people there and getting in the pool? Forget it. I even got accosted by a drunk guy at the pool bar, although the bartender was very nice and got the guy to back off. We ate at Pho, the Vietnamese restaurant, and we even had to wait in line just to get a table. I saw lines at every restaurant in the hotel. The food was pretty terrible and the service was spotty.
We needed to print a boarding pass for our flights the next day- the "business center" was the internet for a dollar a minute. In the room, it was $8 for two hours.
All in all, it was easy to stay there because of seeing Cirque, but waiting in line for everything is not for me.

I stayed here with my mother, for her frist trip to Vegas, and I choose it because of the amazing location. It is right in the centre of the strip and easy to access many other casinos and hotels. The rooms are very clean, although I did have to request more towels on our first night, as there was not enough, but every other day they stocked it with plenty. The beds are so comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud. I was a little disappointed at the lack of view, as our room looked out onto a roodtop and into a brick wall, but how much time do you spend looking out your window. The pool is amazing, and Social House as well as Ilsa restaurants are amazing for service and food. I would return to TI again in the future.

I have been a member of Trip Advisor for a couple of years, and have only ever felt compelled to leave one other review despite staying in hotels every month or two. Once again, I flet it was necessary to comment on the property after reading other reviews.

First off, my wife and I fought over where we were going to stay on this trip to Vegas. I wanted to try Trump, or Palazzo (both new to us), or return to Wynn or Bellagio. She had a girlfriend who raved about TI and it's proximity to the Fashion Show Mall(has a walkway directly to it). I could care less about the mall, but knew that if she was happy, I'd be happy.

Check in was efficient and friendly and clerk upgraded our suite to the 36th floor with the best view of the strip we have ever had. Room was a bit smaller than expected but suited our needs. Room itself was very clean and tastefully done. Only downside was a long walk from the elevator and occassionally would see room service dishes in the hallway for 6-8 hours.

Didn't bother using the pool, looked crowded with 20 somethings, and left very little in their casino. Went to Mystere at TI, always a pleasure to see Cirque. Ate at Canter's twice, nice deli eats. Steakhouse was pleasant.

Overall, we would recommend this property for couples or groups that want an excellent location and excellent value. Once this location disassociates itself from the MGM, it will be interesting to see how it is maintained.
