We stayed from May 16th-23rd, its a great location just off the strip but centrally located.
There were 8 of us, the room accomodated us well. Cleaners came through daily which we did not expect, the larger bedroom had a massive closet which fitted all of our suitcases in for storage. The Kitchen was fully equiped, with large stove/oven, full size fridge and dishwasher. Three TV's, coin operated laundry down the passage.
Pool was out the front in the carpark with tennis courts and basketball court above the carpark.
Straight across the road was Planet Hollywood with shopping mall, supermarkets were a couple of miles from the strip, the closest one was south on the strip called Whole Foods market but be aware this is a organic supermarket so it is pricey.
The Bellagio is just around the corner with its beautiful water show.
This hotel is centrally located along the strip without the noise.
There is a lot of construction going on on the strip and we found the streets very dirty.
Bring comfortable shoes, that accomodate for the heat as the ground surface gets extremely hot.
Fremont street is magnificent something you just cant miss, although it is a couple of miles north on the strip it is worth seeing.
Hoover Dam is worth a drive too, a massive bridge is being built across it at the moment which is stunning to see. We also stopped at Lake Mead on the way back to drip our feet in.
Overall the lights are spectacular, the crowds are amazing at night, the heat is not so nice.
We ate at the MGM Grand Buffet which we thought was good value for money, $30per head.
The conceige was very informative and helpful.

My friends stayed at a hotel on the strip and they didn't have as good as a room as mine. Felt like a miniature apartment. A great place to stay once you spent all day walking up and down the strip. Real peaceful too, not all that constant traffic all over the place too. The workers there were wonderful, always trying to make your stay better. If they only had flight packages to go with their inexpensive rates I would love to stay here again.

We arrived at 11.00pm and check-in was quick and without fuss. Our room was clean, quiet and had a kitchenette with all the utensils we needed.
There was a laundry on our floor ($1.25 wash, $1.00 dry) and a business centre on the ground floor with 2 computers and a lounge area. Although we didn't use them it also has a swimming pool and tennis court.
The Carriage House is about half a block from The Strip and closest to Planet Hollywood and MGM Grand. The price was very reasonable and I would have no hessitation in staying here again.

We stayed in one-bedroom suites at the start and end of our trip. Room #323 had a full size Murphy bed built into a wall credenza; room #823 had a sofa/bed. Both were clean with no smell of cigarette smoke. The kitchens were well equipped and the bath had a surplus of linens even for a large family. The bedrooms had a large dressing area with separate sink and large mirror.

The hotel is just a block off the Strip BUT late at night the area can be a little scary. Not a lot of “normal” Strip foot traffic and occasionally some “weird” folks but not enough to keep us from staying there in the future.

Construction on Las Vegas Avenue near the Harmon intersection has traffic reduced to one or two lanes in both directions. If you’re driving, I’d avoid the Strip as much as possible.

Don't miss the Titanic exhibit at the Luxor if you have the time. Tickets at TIX outlets are about half the price of tickets at the Luxor

Our family of 5, with 3 kids ages 8-10, stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in April 2009. Our room was a one bedroom suite which included a full kitchen, a king bed in the bedroom, and a sofa sleeper with 2 additional chairs that converted into single beds in the living area.

The room was very clean and roomy. It was very easy to park here and there was a tennis court and pool in the back. I would say the best feature of this hotel was that you could walk about a block to the Miracle Mile Shops and the strip. You're very close to all the action but not so close where you have to deal with the crowds and driving issues.

This hotel is a no-brainer for anyone who wants to experience Vegas but also retain a more traditional accommodation.
