We stayed in one-bedroom suites at the start and end of our trip. Room #323 had a full size Murphy bed built into a wall credenza; room #823 had a sofa/bed. Both were clean with no smell of cigarette smoke. The kitchens were well equipped and the bath had a surplus of linens even for a large family. The bedrooms had a large dressing area with separate sink and large mirror.
The hotel is just a block off the Strip BUT late at night the area can be a little scary. Not a lot of “normal” Strip foot traffic and occasionally some “weird” folks but not enough to keep us from staying there in the future.
Construction on Las Vegas Avenue near the Harmon intersection has traffic reduced to one or two lanes in both directions. If you’re driving, I’d avoid the Strip as much as possible.
Don't miss the Titanic exhibit at the Luxor if you have the time. Tickets at TIX outlets are about half the price of tickets at the Luxor
