The Orleans was a great experience for our family. We found a Hotel that had a nice big clean room, a spacious clean bathroom and a pool that made the whole family feel welcome and comfortable. The room was sood that I ddin;t even complain once! The check in was flawless with a welcoming staff. The security by the elevators were polite and always doing their job. The poll was very nice and not over crowded. We did not take advantage of the bowling alley or swimming pool but they both seemd very busy. We realy did not like the buffet that much and we tried the steak nite and the breakfast buffet. They had planety of fresh fruit and vegetables and a wide selection of other foods that were ok. Our best didning experience was at Terrible Mike's for a hamburger and fries. The coupon book they gave us upon chcek in was worthwhile inclduing discounts and free drink coupons. We visited Brendans Irish Pub for a pint and saw a great jazz band. There were a lot of things to do right at the Orleans to keep everyone entertained from swimming to bowling to good food to gambling the Orleans has it all.

The Orleans is too far from the strip to walk but they do have a shuttle service but we did not use it. We rented a car and the valets were very nice and quick with the retrieval of our car.

We were looking for a nice clean comfortable hotle for our stay in Vegas and we found it and at a great price. We had considered staying at a strip hotel for two days but we liked the Orleans so much we came back for our last two days after an overnight visit to the Grand Canyon.

For a family making a visit to Vegas the Orleans is the place for you! It is a friendly, clean, spacious hotel at a great price!

Stayed at the Orleans for Four days and three nights and then for 2 days and nites. Check in was a breeze both times. The rooms were plenty big enough with a good sized bathroom and nice views. Beds were comfy and the whole hotel from the casino, to the pool, to the food joints and the staff all had had an atmosphere that made us feel very comfortable. We are by no means high rollers just a middle clas family looking for a good hotel at a fair price. We found a great hotel at a great price. We had a car so the off strip location was not really an issue. We liked ot so much we cancelled our reservation at a strip hotel to go back to the Orleans. The pool was great and Terrible Mikes had great burgers. The buffet was not great just ok and it had plenty of fruit and veggies so it worked for us. Coupon book was worthwhile with free drinks and food discounts and more. I would highly reccomend the Orleans!

We had reserved a room in January to stay the first week of June at the Orleans. It was our 3rd visit so we were looking forward to it for months.
When we tried to check-in the desk clerk said he would have a room for us in 2 hours so we said fine. 2 hours later the room wasn't ready as the people decided to stay.
Ok, we said. We just want a king room. Oh no he said. I have this other room reserved for you so come back in an hour. We said we just wanted a king room but he wouldn't let us have it.
Others around us were checking in with no problems. When we came back we had another desk clerk with a serious attitude problem. She said we were lucky to get a king room at all and that there weren't that many of them??? As I said we saw others checking in no problem and we had made the reservations in January.
When we checked out the service was just as rude. We wrote a letter to the Orleans management and got a form reply. Just a basic we're sorry and looking forward to seeing you again. As if! We tried to complain while we were there but no one would talk to us. We are low rollers so my husband was right when he said they don't care as the place is full of other suckers.

We stayed there the weekend of July 4th. Due to an early flight we tried to check in early. We were able to get our two rooms at 10am but they were next to the elevators. I suggetst getting as far away as possible for the elevators, it was very noisey. We were able to change later that day. After resting for a short time we ate downstairs at Terrible Mike's. For $20 for each couple it left a lot to be desired. The buffet on Monday night was seafood and it was wonderful!!! The casino was nice with alot of low limit slots and a few $3 BJ tables. The only frustrating part is that after our third day there they never told the husbands that they had to have a special card for the tables. They presented the card everytime they would buy in and not one person told them they had the wrong card. We only played in the one casino to try and build up comps but it never happended because we lost the first 3 days.

The rooms are fine. Large with sitting area. The bathroom was fine, I wish there was a door that seperated the shower area from them vanity area, but otherwise is was good.

The shuttle to and from the strip is a whole different situation. There is no sign that says form line here. So there is a large group of people standing there waiting. When the shuttle pulls up the people who have been waiting the longest have now ended up in the back of the line. There was another family and the 4 of us that had been waiting for over 45 minutes and when the shuttle pulled up it looked like we were not going to get on again. The father of the other family pushed his way up to the front and blocked everyone else so we could all get on. The next day we went across the street to budget and rented a car!

The hotel was fine, my kids loved the kids tyme area, the casino was fine. I might stay there again if the price is right again, but I would rent a car.
