So I stayed at NY NY May 31st to June 4 and I have to say that this place was awesome. Customer Service was OK, Ive had better. Check- In took about 10min and the front desk clerk was very helpful and efficiant. She gave us a map and told us where everything was. This was my 3rd trip to Las Vegas and I have stayed at Bellagio and Ceasars Palace so I know luxury. I stayed in a Park Avenue Deluxe Strip View room and It was just like the pictures. Very updated and just enough space. We did have a mini fridge in the bathroom and that is one thing that most people said this hotel did not have. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.

The casino area is very large and there is so much to see and it can get a bit confusing. But if you follow the signs you will always find what you need. The few places that we did eat were very good. Drinks come very slow when your gambling, I was only asked if I wanted a drink about 3 times my entire stay. The pool is small but there was an abundance of lounge chairs, and if you get out there early enough and try and get a spot on the side of pool opposite of the bar you get great sun around 11am while many other areas get little to no sun. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel. Im planning on staying here again in the next few months. It was completly worth the money that I spent. I hope this is helpful to anybody looking for a cheap, but nice and fun place to stay.

Little customer service. Check in lines were huge with people on the desk having no care at all. Handed our room key and the woman quickly spat out directions on where to go.

Lobby and casino area particularly dark and unappealing, with a very 'desperate' and 'sleazy' vibe, moreso than the other casino's we visited.

Hotel was rundown and halls were dirty and felt unsafe. The carpet behind the 'desk' in the room was filthy and after room service was completed, it felt like beds were made and nothing else was really attended to.

Also, walls were extremely thin in the 'New Yorker Tower'....

Room came with no hotel map or information... we never even found the pool. Couldn't find any friendly worker to help us.

Would not stay here ever again and certainly would not recommend.

This was our girl /Birthday's 2nd stay at the hotel, the 1st time we stayed there we got a update room to die for, it was huge! All we asked for was a update and we got it. This time a whole different story, the cleark told us that half the floors were closed due to the economy yet she still would't update us to a nicer room go figure you would think they would be doing whatever it took to keep their guest happy so we would return! She put us in a room so far away from the elevators it took 5 mins to get to your room!! We will never stay there again.

This hotel is very nice. Last year when we were there, they had a little bit of construction going on but it was really no bother. The ground floor was rockin the sound of those one arm bandit armies but the rooms were extra quiet. The steak house at NYNY is AMAZING! If you eat there, they will offer to take your picture (self, significant other, family, friends, whatever) - they probably charged us an arm & a leg for the picture but it was and is the one purchase from that trip I wouldn't take back for anything. I don't know if it's still there but Nathan's Hot Dogs was there by the arcade - we went every night. The arcade is cool if you've reached your $ limit but still can't sleep. Good slots 2!
