We stayed at the MGM over the holidays last year. The staff was very coridal and helpful from out arrival to departure. Our room on the 27th floor had a spectacular view of the Vegas strip, was spacious, nicely appointed and easy to get to. For as large as the resort is, it's simple to get around in. You only have to walk to two locations in this massive building to know the entire layout, and the elevator lobby leads to both. The main lobby is easy to get to and is adjacent to the elevator foutain room. From the fountain room, walking through the casino toward Studio 54 Disco will reveal almost all of the casino, most of the other night clubs and several restaurants. In the other direction walking from the elevator fountain room toward Zuri's to the Studio Walk will reveal the other end of the resort. This is where the finest restaurants are located, and at least one is possibly the best in Vegas. Chef Emeril Lagasse's New Orleans Fish House has exquisite food and service to match. A few doors down from Emerils is Seablue, a nearly equal experience in fine dining. Although we played several casinos in Vegas, our best luck was at the MGM. Over a period of three days, our winnings ended up equaling our expenses. All things considered, this resort is one of the finest values and best times in Vegas. Happy traveling!!
