Never again. This was the worst Hilton experience I have ever had. Rooms were very run down. Staff could care less if you have a good experience. I even have status in the Hilton Honors program. Based on this Hilton stay I will be concentrating my hotel stays at other chains

Stayed here April 4/5. Had stayed here last year for a couple of nights so when we were asked at check in if we wanted to upgrade for extra we didn't. This time the room was not as good as the one we were given last time. The first stay was in the north tower and this time central, we prefered the north. Both rooms were unrenovated. Overall we found the Hilton value as we only paid $70 a night, if it had been any more we would have stayed elsewhere. I would only reccomend staying here if the price is low as there are far too many hotels which offer the same or more in a better location if you are paying a higher price.

Caught a package deal with USAir. Air flight terrible. Got standard room, Room and pool was nice had space. Rent a car ( note Rent a
CAR). lunch and dinner buffet was JUST OK. 1st day bought 3.00 coffee, (note go to sports room Deli has good coffee for 1.25) Front desk check in was Quick, Slots you have to choose wisely (l1st row in space quest, right corner area before sports book & buffet area slots were OK. Video Pokers sucks. Star Trek was worth the 1/2 price tickets.
note this is my Second time to Las Vegas in 2yrs
Vegas is going Down Hill fast. Not sure who they are trying to cater to but if they keep pace it's going to be another 80's city gone to dust

Recent return from 4 night stay at LVH. Similar experience as others ie $3/day charge for in-room safe ?? whoever thought up this one ? When checking in, immediately asked us if we want to upgrade to a better bed for $50/night...omg, what kinda bed was I going to end up with ? Then, the players club closes at midnight and we were not able to redeem ANY of our comps b4 we left, we thought we would save them for our last night, tough luck. Didn't they ever hear of comp kiosks ? they figured out how to charge you for an in-room safe ? Also, we decided to spend an afternoon at the pool, forget it....half the pool area was closed for a private party and then we were blasted out of our lounge chairs by the rap music. This was the Hilton, or maybe I was "beamed up" to the Coyote Ugly Bar ? Trust me, pay a few extra $$$ and stay on the strip with more options. The monorail is nice but it gets expensive & tiresome running back & forth. We are seasoned travelers including Vegas and this was not one of our best accomodations.

“Prefer "Old" Hilton”

Hilton Las Vegas

Apr 8, 2007

Weather and pool area were fabulous. Rest of Hilton was like Vegas - overhyped with little substance. Hotel was too large, as were most of their prices. Rooms adequate. $20/day for exercise room which they call a "Spa" - even for hotel guests. $3 coffee. Bring your laptop if you have to communicate electronically - $7.50 for 15 minutes of Internet access in their "Business Center". Slot machines that didn't even tease me for a little while; had better luck elsewhere, including at the airport.

We stayed at this location before it became the "New" Hilton and prefer the old.

Thank goodness for the wonderful weather......
