Met with family over 4th of July weekend. My husband and I stayed at the Las Vegas Hilton and had an absolutely wonderful room. Was only a king bed room, but was so large it could have been a suite. Elegantly decorated and the room rate was unbelievably low. A third of what my brother paid for his extremely small room at Treasure Island. I would definitely stay at the Hilton whenever we are in Vegas.

Although the Vegas Hilton is not on the Strip, it is a nice hotel and the rooms are in good shape and good sized. The new monorail starts at the Hilton and goes to the Strip so now the Hilton is a nice alternative to the Strip hotels, i.e., you can stay off the Strip where it is a little quieter but still get to the action quickly. I did feel like the hotel could have done a better job catering to kids (I was with my 6 year old son) as the arcade closed at 9:45 (they advertised 10 pm) and the worker there was very rude. It is my understanding the Hilton is going to go through a major facelift soon and should be a good destination in the future. I would definitely stay there again. Friendly staff, good food and entertainment options and Star Trek Experience make for a nice stay.

Old hotel, so the king sized beds are tiny - I'm only 5'10" and my feet stuck out the end! They gave us an uncleaned room at first, and when we complained "upgraded" us to one that was cleaned but still crappy. The beds are rock hard and lumpy - and the pillows are lumpy and small. I woke up with a sprained neck after 4 hours sleep and we got out of that place asap and went to caeser's palace which was overpriced and a small improvement comfortwise. At least there was less white-trash everywhere. I expected a lot more from a Hilton.

Stayed here for first 2 nights at Vegas.

Rooms were renovated, but old.

Booked 2 rooms, and both rooms have problem with the drain backed up. Must be due to the old plumbing.

Nothing much in the hotel in terms of attractions other than the Star Trek exibit which was pretty pricey and lame for a star trek fan. Location is fairly inconvenient.

Rooms are fairly large in size, need to pay to use safe and cooling system is not the greatest. Noisy and not that cold.

For $49 a night, should have paid an extra $10-20 and got a room at Aladdin, which we stayed for the next 2 nights.
