Most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Rooms were flithy, tiolet paper stuck to the walls. Sinks that didn't drain. Carpet made your feet turn black. I have stayed here many times in the past but will never do so again. They just don't care about cleaning these rooms. This hotel needs a complete scrub down and makeover. The price does not compare to the complete disgust of the place. Do not stay here.

First of all.let me say I'm not too fussy...as long as I have somewhere to sleep and running water, but this place was without a doubt the most discusting place I've ever stayed. My Niece and her husband booked ,and not too much was available.my room in the South tower, room 803...had chipped paint on all the dressers, caved in lamp shades, had to phone the front desk numerous times to find out what time it was,as the plug kept falling out of the wall on the 300 year old clock radio, and the 6 TV channels didn't have the time on any of them. The first morning there,my niece's husband had to come shower in my room as the water in the tub was full after my niece had her shower and would not drain. They had to go switch rooms, which meant some other poor sap was going to be getting there room.there was a bottle cap on the floor by the bed( not mine,I left it there) and it was still there when I left after 5 days and is probably still there. My first morning there,I noticed a pile of dirty dishes sitting outside one of the rooms, you guessed it,still there when I left after 5 days....the Icing on the cake...Our room was Pre-paid on my Nieces credit card, but when I got home and received my credit card bill,I was billed $112,for what ,I don't know as I'm still sitting here waiting for the Hotel to return my call....Good luck to all who stay there and may you all have a better experience there than I did...I would rather sleep on a park bench, than stay there again

  • Liked — It was in a convenient location
  • Disliked — it didn't matter that it was such an old hotel, but they could update some of the equipment..@ TV's,clock radios etc.

Booked room as package with airfare due to price...well you get what you pay for. Yuck. We had 12 people in our group and 8 of us checked out the next day.

I had choosen to ask for an upgrade and was told the price would be $15 more per night, I flat out asked if I tipped $20 if I could get the upgrade and was told yes. I was the only one to receive upgrade and our room was on the 12th floor of the north tower. Standard room, a little larger than some, bathroom very small but clean. Bedding was acceptable and surprisingly comfortable. The elavators were death traps with only one working. I went and saw where the rest of our party was staying and the south tower rooms on the 7th floor are just plain nasty. Furniture falling apart, bathrooms from the 70's but not maintained. I know you are just going to sleep in them but I was questioning the cleanliness of the south tower rooms when someone found a dirty wash cloth in the tub and a pair of someone elses undies next to the bed.....That couple checked out that night and went to the Stratosphere. The casino layout was strange with a bunch of dead space where the sports book was and was kind of scary to walk back there with the odd types wandering about. I checked out the next day and went to Harrah's. The few that decided to stay were told that they had to check out a day early. Both couples provided their prepaid receipts and had to spend an hour clearing it up. The staff at the Vegas Club must be challenged in the reading department.

If you don't mind that end of downtown and choose a North tower room, you might like the Vegas Club for its rate, I would spend a couple more bucks to feel safer and be able to deal with literate employees.

This was our fourth time at the Vegas Club. Our previous four rooms have always been decent ones. Of course it's not the four seasons, but it was clean. Now our room was disgusting! The bathroom was molded top to floor, the carpet was stained, the dresser was filthy. On the bathroom floor, there was some hair from previous visitors... which was there for the entire week!!! So far for maid service. We didn't got any soap either, we had to by some at Walgreens. We did gave the maid a nice tip the first couple of days, but since she didn't earn it, we gave her less at the end of our stay. We've been in many different places this trip, got from Indianapolis to Chicago, went on old route 66 to Vegas. On our way to Vegas we slept in places like Hilton and small roadside motels, but this was the most terrible experience on our entire trip! We come to Vegas every year en will never ever stay here again. Next time we will pay a little more to avoid beeing bitten by bedbugs!!

  • Liked — The pen you get in your room (the only clean item in it!!)
  • Disliked — Filthy, disgusting, molded, stained, rude staff, poor maid service. Just stay away!!

Stayed Sept 26-29, 2008. Room 507. First off, let me say that I don't mind "roughing it" to save a few bucks and I've stayed in all sorts of places from Luxury to Hostel. This place is GROSS! The carpets were disgusting, mold in the shower, plumbing that backed up (even when not using the shower, it would randomly fill up with water). Dresser falling apart. Lamps missing lampshade.. but oh wait.... there's the lamp shade... made into a chandelier hanging from the ceiling light!!! I will never stay here again. Now granted, I didn't pay 1 penny for this place, it was free to me through a travel deal. Having said that - It was a place to sleep, that's all. I wasn't looking for and didn't need more than that, but if you are looking for something more, look elsewhere!!! If you are staying in the downtown/Fremont area of Las Vegas I suggest the Golden Nugget, that is a very nice place where I spent much time.

  • Liked — I didn't have to pay
  • Disliked — Room/carpet/bathroom was gross
