This was our first visit to Las Vegas....and we are already planning the next! We got the Jockey Club through an exchange with our timeshare. It was the only resort available at the time we could go. We were told that there would be some construction going on...and boy they were right. The suite we had was not on the Bellagio side, so the view from our room looked a bit like "Ground Zero". We stayed on a labor day weekend so we didnt hear any of the constuction going on for the first few days. On the 4th day, the day we left, we did hear construction starting at 4 in the morning...which didnt bother us much because of the time change (7am New York time) we were pretty much awake. Hubby was able to sleep in a bit longer, though, before we had to be up for an 8am transfer to the airport. Because of its location I would definately recommend the Jockey Club. It is centrally located. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though the suite was dated, it was very clean and adequate. If you come to Vegas and live it up as we did...You won't be bothered by construction because you will be too tired for it to matter.
