Booked this trip through a private party for my sisters bday and my family and I had an amazing time in this place. We had a two bedroom two bath suite which was plenty of room for us. There was 5 people in our party. We had a great time. Location is awesome the suite is really huge and there's a kitchen inside as well as laundry. It was perfect I look forward to coming back here again with my family.

We have just returned from Las Vegas where we stayed at the Jockey Club through timeshare exchange with Interval International. Having read some of the reviews before we left we were a bit apprehensive about what to expect.
Our experience of the place couln't have been better. We had a room facing the fountains of the Bellagio which gave us a spectacular view of that part of the strip. The room was very comfortable and adequately furnished and the maid service was excellent. Your bed was made for you every day, clean towels provided every day and the place generally tidied.
Check in was so efficient and the staff so courteous and friendly, and the best bit was you didn't need to walk through a sea of gaming machines and cigarette smoke to get there!
The building going on around the Jockey Club is just phenomenal - almost to the point it is dwarfed by it. We were not too aware of construction noise - in fact we heard more noise from the fountains of the Bellagio which is not a complaint as we would not have changed our unit for anything.
The pool was a bit of a shame and we did not use it at all. Luckily we had friends who were staying else where and we made use of their pool. Hopefully the Jockey Club can withstand all the development around it as if we were ever to go back to Las Vegas we would certainly not consider choosing anywhere else to exchange into but the Jockey Club.

Don't expect luxury or extravagance on the scale of one of the Vegas strip resorts, you won't get it. What you will get however is a nice, small, pleasant, clean hotel with very friendly helpful staff, a nice large room with a decent sized bathroom, living area and a great little kitchen area should you wish to prepare any of your own food. Further to this the location is great!!! Right in the middle of the famous Vegas strip and (if you're lucky enough to get a room on the north face of the building), a great view of Vegas across the Bellagio lake and dancing fountains.

Now the downside(s). It's unavoidable and has to be mentioned and that's the construction of the massive Cosmopolitan resort that has literally swallowed the poor Jockey Club alive!!! We were really concerned about the construction noise but there was no need to worry. There was a small amout of the noise on the north of the building but never enough to wake us up or disturb us in any way. Rooms on the south of the building will regretably have an appaling view of a big grey wall but let's face it, unless you're really boring, are you gonna sit in your room all day in a city like Vegas!? Nevertheless, not a very nice view all the same. The pool area is covered with a net to stop falling debris from the Cosmo building and due to fact the Cosmo towers above the Jockey Club (and still has another 20 or so floors to go), the pool area gets no sunlight whatsoever so don't go expecting to get a tan by the pool.

For us though, these things really didn't matter. Vegas is a simply amazing city and with the Jockey club you're right in the middle of it all. At the end of the day, we were only in the hotel to sleep and it served this purpose brilliantly. The construction didn't cause us any issues but didn't make the place massively aesthetically pleasing which is a shame but the location, cleanliness and sheer conveinience of the place made up for these things.

Go with an open mind and enjoy!!!! Please check out some of the photos too.

My husband and I spent a time share exchange week there and it was great! Our unit overlooked the Bellagio and the location great.- CVS and Walgreens nearby had a small food market in them for essentional food items. Noise from the construction next door wasn't a big problem. Right across from the Miracle Mile shops where there are several restaurants and many shops. Our unit was spacious, well furnished and kept spotless during our stay.Upon departure, when we aked the front desk for a taxi to get us to the airport, they suggested a shuttle that cost only $6 p.p. and it was there promptly at 4:30 a.m. Have only positive coments to make about the Jockey Club.

The Jockey Club has thieves working for them.
Details; It is mandatory that you use their valet service if you park on the premises. I filled my gas tank the day before to facilitate a 5 AM departure. Approximately 20 minutes into the trip I scanned my gages and noticed I was under 3/4 of a tank of gas. Because of travel requirements I could not return and wait until management arrived to solve my dilemma. Later I found items had been taken out of the console of the car as well.
Upon completion of my trip I notified Jockey Club by email of my problem. To date, 3 weeks later, they have refused to communicate with me. I contacted my booking agent Hotels Com on two occasions for assistance; they as well have had no response.
Recommend you find a more reliable hotel/motel in Las Vegas.
