We didn't stay at the hotel, because we were on a budget, but we ended up at the Casino every night because of the wonderful food at the 24/7 restaurant. We loved the music, which included everything from 50's to present--and were left alone to play the penny slots or walk around as we wanted. Strangely enough, we didn't mind the music being loud because it was good. We were taken back when we noticed a group of young men walking around with what appeared to be a huge bottle of beer(?), until we realized that they were probably performers. Because of our schedule, we didn't get to go into any of the various shops--but they looked like something we'd have enjoyed. If for no other reason than the food (and the great waiters and waitresses), it's worth a visit. We noticed three older women who looked like they were out of place--sort of like they were expecting more "action" than anything--it was far more crowded on Friday and Saturday night, which was understandable, but it didn't appear to be a pick-up bar--although like anywhere, if you look for trouble, you can always find it. By far, our favorite Las Vegas restaurant and casino--and we saw several. If our budget allowed, we would have stayed at the hotel instead of across the street, but we were still easy walking distance.

Off the strip, nice hotel. A little expensive. Casino is smaller than most, but very fun crowd-younger. Great meals at Pink Taco, Lucky's. Great pool. Very nice rooms.

  • Liked — fun atmosphere
  • Disliked — off the strip
  • Tips/Secrets: — for a good, reasonably priced meal- Try Lucky's 24/7 (At the Hard Rock)

An excellent place to stay. We have stayed at around 15 other casino/hotels and we would place this in the top 3. The room was great. The view was stunning. From our balcony, we could see the Luxor all the way to the Stratosphere, and also the pool area.

The Pink Taco was excellent as well as Luckys. Also the room service was quick and the food was great.

All in all, we would recomment this highly. We will be back in the near future. We go to Vegas every 4-6 months.

  • Liked — Rooms were great. Staff & Service excellent
  • Disliked — Nothing
  • Tips/Secrets: — Be sure to be ready for a late night. The fun lasts till late in the AM

I stayed for a couple of nights in early September and this is by far thest place I have stayed in Vegas - it actually feels like a hotel with a casino inside it rather than a casino that happens to have some bedrooms.

Room was well appointed and unlike previous posters expereience my room was made up in the morning and everything taken care of. Staff were all extremely warm and helpful.

Breakfast in the 24 hour diner was excellent. Agree with the last poster that a taxi to the strip is essential and cost no more than $7. There was a surcharge on the room for use of a shuttle service but I saw no sign of this operating while I was there.

Overall, it was worth the detour from staying on the Strip.

Stayed here for 3 nights in early Sep 2006.
Great location - 5 mins/$7 in a cab from the airport. Short cab ride or brisk (hot) walk to the strip - walking not recommended.
Check-in is probably the only downside - see if you can pre-register or arrive at a quiet time otherwise you have to register, leave your bags and return later (say 5pm) to actually get the keys to your room.
Rooms are spacious and clean but room service is late (well after 1pm) and erractic (our beds weren't made and our towels weren't changed one day).
The Sunday pool party (rehab) is great fun - well worth being in town for. Pool complex is really good but does get busy so arrive early for a lounger.
Casino is OK - min bet $10 though - bar is good and open all hours.
Food is good at both the breakfast bar and the other eateries and the starbucks is helpful.
All in all great fun: would come again.
