We just spent five so, so days at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas.

Here are the problems with this hotel:

1. Cheap rooms with tiny bathrooms
2. Room walls are paper thin and you can hear everything!
3. The place is not clean. We had a horrible expererience with our room.

Here are a few positives:

1. The only thing good about the Casino are the $5 craps tables.
2. Simon, a restaurant in the hotel, has wonderful food.
3. The staff does try to help one out when there is a problem.
4. The music is nice out by the pool during the day.

Compared to the other large hotels on the strip (such as MGM which are just to big!!) the Hard Rock is an ideal size, you don’t need to have a map just to find your way back to your room!!
It was very busy on the weekends, the swimming pool area was jam packed, especial on Sunday when they have their “rehab beach party”, but the rest of the week it was quiet.
It was a bit of a drawback that we were set so far back off of the strip (about a 20 min walk), but taxis were only a couple of dollars and there is a free bus which runs till 7pm; and we did have an amazing view from our room (on the 10th floor), which was of the entire length of The Strip; especially amazing at night.

My wife and stayed at this place a couple of years ago, during it I slipped on their slippy tiles in the bath-room, broke my ribbs and taken to hospital by ambulance, treated brilliantly at the Suncoast Hospital, but was in terrible pain when Iarrived back at hotel, as the pain was so severe, I believed it would be impossible to move out the next day as we had planned to do [we would pay of course], I called and spoke to the manager, regarding this, imagine our horror, when he told me that this was out of the question, that his hotel was booked out, that the best he could do, was to allow us a late check-out, 12-noon, I did contact contact a local solictor regarding this matter, but they said that I would be wasting my time , going further with this matter. customer care I, do not think so

Management response from Daniel Hirsch, Front Office Manager

In response to the post: "Las Vegas: Hard Rock Hotel and Casino: "Hard Rock Service 'Attitude' Senseless!" - The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, among almost all casino hotels in Las Vegas are very aware of the problem that illegal prostitution brings to the area. Rest assured that the hotel is working very closely with Las Vegas Vice and "sting" teams to prevent this type of activity. Several arrests are made each week for solicitation and the Management of the Hard Rock is working hard to create a fun enviroment for our guests. We thank you for your feedback and encourage you to return to the property to see the fruits of our labor.

Not a big place, nor very cosy...it is surely for the youth, with ALOT of money....
Other than being made feel like you are intruding on someones "break time" every time you try to order/buy/eat something in this place, and the trash all over the pool area, and the distace from ANYTHNG, without being told there even was a shuttle....other than that, it was ok

James Billie is right these guys will never do what he did. Slot machines with Bingo cards and balls? Big rip off. First time visit and yet while I was there Wheel of Fortune never turned for anyone. Weekend should be busy but hardly anyone on machines. Lots of complaints. The new leaders that ousted Billie better go back to the drawing board.
The only thing there worth any kind of play is evening Bingo. Morning and matinee Bingo run like jet propelled too fast and too sloppy.
When you can walk into a Casino and find hundreds of machines available on a weekend that casino is in trouble.
Don't waste your time or money on the slots. And be prepared to stand in line for hours to play poker. Poker room is so small with only 15 tables.
Much better action in CT Foxwood or Mohegan Sun or Atlantic city Hurrah's or Taji Mahal.
Don't like Hard Rock heading for Vegas but will not play at Hard Rock .
Hotel too expensive for my taste. No freebees any where. They want my money but they give nothing back in return. Winners usually spread good words. And I was a winner! How about some freebee stuff incentives they are called you have to lure me there.

My one comment about this review is that the person must be talking about another establishment because the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas does not have a poker room or bingo room. We hope to have a poker room someday -- but it is safe to say we will doubtfully ever have a bingo room.
