James Billie is right these guys will never do what he did. Slot machines with Bingo cards and balls? Big rip off. First time visit and yet while I was there Wheel of Fortune never turned for anyone. Weekend should be busy but hardly anyone on machines. Lots of complaints. The new leaders that ousted Billie better go back to the drawing board.
The only thing there worth any kind of play is evening Bingo. Morning and matinee Bingo run like jet propelled too fast and too sloppy.
When you can walk into a Casino and find hundreds of machines available on a weekend that casino is in trouble.
Don't waste your time or money on the slots. And be prepared to stand in line for hours to play poker. Poker room is so small with only 15 tables.
Much better action in CT Foxwood or Mohegan Sun or Atlantic city Hurrah's or Taji Mahal.
Don't like Hard Rock heading for Vegas but will not play at Hard Rock .
Hotel too expensive for my taste. No freebees any where. They want my money but they give nothing back in return. Winners usually spread good words. And I was a winner! How about some freebee stuff incentives they are called you have to lure me there.

My one comment about this review is that the person must be talking about another establishment because the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas does not have a poker room or bingo room. We hope to have a poker room someday -- but it is safe to say we will doubtfully ever have a bingo room.

Hard Rock Service 'Attitude' Senseless!

If you want to see a truly misplaced sense of self and displaced sense of reality, experience the "Hard Rock" attitude as displayed by the staff in the Casino. Somehow they have managed to convince themselves that since it is indeed the "HARD ROCK" in which they ply their trade, their extremely low-wage positions (embarrasing by most standards) indeed merit an elitist approach to guests, patrons and players alike. I sat down at one table at which the dealer was clearly "working" the only other player at the table (an attractive girl) and he was so absolutely irritated that I was rude enough to sit down to play (potentially "horning-in" on his action) that he was as obviously rude as he possibly could be to me. When he won three straight hands, he snickered loudly and insultingly until I was forced to get up and leave (making him visibly pleased.) And I have never been hit-on by so many hookers in one place in my life (and I go to Vegas fairly often.) And I'm not talking about slow, casual come-ons...I'm talking about "wanna date?" one after the other. This place truly is the most overrated experience of any kind in Vegas, but if you want to check out some absolutely inexplicable social behavior, just "hang" in the casino and observe the staff. I don't get it.

We did not stay at the hotel, nor will we ever after visiting the Hard Rock Casino...It was packed with greasy, grimy looking 20-somethings that looked like a bachelor party gone bad. Women dressed in a halter top and lacy boy short panties with bunchy looking behinds (no, these were not the Pretty People at all!) Bathrobes everywhere, and the guys all wore LONG SLEEVE button down shirts and tighty witeys-Tom Cruise style. I am no prude but I wasn't expecting stripper costumes and bathrobes! We just wanted to party and have a good time.

Don't they have ANY dress code? Go if you want to see Freaks and the less fortunate looking trying to outdo the other women in sleazy attire.....

It seems to me that you stumbled upon a special event we were hosting called BOXERS & BUSTIERS! This event was targeted towards our high-rollers of the casino and is not representative of a typical day at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The event itself did not take place in the casino area but I'm sure the guests did make their ways to the casino after the private event at the pool.

I am sorry if you were offended by the event, but I assure you that it is not a typical scene in our hotel.

As in most of Vegas, the dress code is denim to diamonds. Certain establishments within the Hard Rock have established dress codes (such as Body English) but the general casino area does not, which is the same at the public areas of every other casino in town.

I hope this helps!

As alot of other reviews here have previously stated this and it is true, this place needs a serious attitude adjustment. If you are not the right 'type' of person at this hotel ie young, beautiful or famous then expect to be treated as if you don't exist. My husband and I checked into the hotel on a Sunday morning for a 2 night stay. Beware of the $5.45 per night 'resort fee' they tack onto your room rate. When we questioned what this was for, we were told it was for the 'free shuttle' (which only runs to the strip between 10am - 7pm on the hour) and 'free local phone calls'. So we are paying $5.45 per day for something we are getting for free we asked? I could tell even the desk clerk was embrassed by the charge and I expect he gets a lot of complaints about it. We had to wait 45 minutes for our room which really wasn't a big deal. While we were waiting we were given pool passes which are basically wristbands which allow you to enter the pool area. Sunday in the pool area is called rehab day and if you want to see posers as far as the eye can see then this is the place for it. If you can get into the pool that is. On our first attempt to get into the pool area we were told it was 'full' even though a lot of people were walking past the security guard (they have a security guard on the pool entrance) without wristbands. When we questioned why this was when we had wristbands and were registered guests we got a nice big shrug of the shoulders and were told to move out of the way as we were blocking the entrance! We did eventually go to the pool area which is NOTHING SPECIAL. Honestly it is small and cramped and not at all attractive. I don't see the big deal in it. How it got top 3 pool in Vegas is beyond me. On Monday we also went to the pool and were only able to get a towel after the staff decided to stop having a towel fight and serve us. We found half of the pool was closed because the pool area 'wasn't busy' but once again this hotel has one rule for guests it likes and one rule for guests it does not because we did see guests swimming in the 'closed' section but when we asked why, we again got the infamous shrug of the shoulder! The in-pool blackjack tables are closed during the week though I suspect if the right type of person came only they would be opened up. The only place we ate was Mr. Luckys which was okay but very expensive and it took them 3 gos to get me a cup of hot tea, I got brought a latte first of all and then a coffee! The rooms are nothing special, in fact they are quite dull and I had to wait 30 mins to get paid out on a slot machine. I think this hotel lives on its reputation cause it hasn't got much else going for it.

Generally I loved it. I did not detect any attitude from the staff or the employees of the shops or retaurants. The female staff were all cute and sweet. The pool was really great.

I was a bit dissapointed in the lack of nightlife aside from gambling. I was hoping the nightclub would be open or that there would be pool parties at night. I was there during the week however, so weekends might be different.

I do think security should be a little more vigilant. I saw people smoking in the elevators, and flicking their ashes onto the carpets.

In general, I would definitely stay there again.
