this is a nice old vegas style hotel that for the price is perfect for anyone who just wants a place to hang your hat at night.check in was easy and helpful.room was clean with coffee machine, iron and board, king size bed, plenty of towels, flat screen tv.stayed on the 16th floor, north tower, but if you go to bed early, you may be bothered by the noise for the fremont experence till almost 1 or 2 am.housekeeping staff was excellent.i saw my housekeeper on the first day and tipped her at once.needless to say, my room was vacumed, clean sheet everyday, and plenty of the extras...soap,shampoo,towels,extra coffee, ashtrays,{yes this is a smoking room},etc.we had a small party on our second night in the room before hitting the strip...about 10 people and the room was a mess.got up next mourning and went to binons across the street at about 7:30 am.great breakfast there in the coffee shop...only $1.99. when i came back to the room about 9:30 am. the room was spotless....excellent job!!! i would book this hotel again..ken,melbourne,fl

We just returned from a wonderful experience we could have had. This was our 1st time visiting this town. the hotel employee's were wonderful, food was great and would recomend this hotel. When I booked this vacation I based it on reviews by other people, they were right, couldn't have picked a better place. I would recommend that since you are in the downtown area, to visit the strip, take the bus $5.00 for 24hrs well worth it, even though it took us 20 minutes we got to see alot. I hope anyone who does book here has the same experience as we did.

Once again the Four Queens exceeded my expectations. Having stayed here 4 times in the last year and a half I can not say enough good things. If you are looking for a fancy lobby and fast elevators this is not the hotel for you. However, if you are on a budget and looking for a great deal this is the place for you. I payed $59 for a Saturday night and $29 for Sun/Mon. Try finding that on the strip. Hotel is clean, safe, and staff is excellent. Was able to get checked in at 9:00 AM on Saturday moning. The hotel is located in the heart of the Fremont Street Experience (can be noisy) so if you value some peace and quiet make sure you request a room facing AWAY from the Fremont Street experience. Also for those of you wanting to go to the strip the bus stop is a stone's throw away. The bus is called the deuce and you get get a 24 hour unlimited ride pass for $5. The Fremont Street Experience really takes off aat night so I usually hit the strip in the day and head back to the Four Queens at night. Chicago Brewing Company (one of their restaurants) has great pizza and beer. Their other restaurant (magnolias) leaves a little bit to be desired. For those of you who insist on staying on the strip you may want to try staying downtown sometime. I think you will be surprised at how affordable and fun it could be. Where on the strip can you walk into a casino bar and buy an ice cold Corona or Heineken for $2.

We stayed 3 nights at the Four Queens and had a great time. We were allowed to check in early, even though check in was not until 4:00. The room was comfortable and the bathroom sufficient. Don't expect a 4 star hotel, but it was nice. There was some construction around or in the hotel some mornings that tended to be loud, but overall it was bearable. We ate at Magnolia's and it was okay. Be sure to get the coupon sheet from the Freemont office for a 2-for-1. The casino is nice but took all of our money. We really enjoyed being downtown and everything being so close. I don't think we will ever stay on the strip again.

Stayed in room in 1819 for two nights, this past weekend. We had no hot water in the shower. I informed the front desk the next morning at 5:00 am and was told that a maintenance man woud look into it, on arriving back in the hotel that afternoon, still no hot water.
The room was small and there was lots of static, you got a shock every time you turned on the lights and pressed the elevator button.
We had given a king bed with only three pillows and the comforter was stained.
You could hear noise from the other rooms next to you, so it as not that sound proof.

Any way, I woulkd just say it was OK!
