Once again the Four Queens exceeded my expectations. Having stayed here 4 times in the last year and a half I can not say enough good things. If you are looking for a fancy lobby and fast elevators this is not the hotel for you. However, if you are on a budget and looking for a great deal this is the place for you. I payed $59 for a Saturday night and $29 for Sun/Mon. Try finding that on the strip. Hotel is clean, safe, and staff is excellent. Was able to get checked in at 9:00 AM on Saturday moning. The hotel is located in the heart of the Fremont Street Experience (can be noisy) so if you value some peace and quiet make sure you request a room facing AWAY from the Fremont Street experience. Also for those of you wanting to go to the strip the bus stop is a stone's throw away. The bus is called the deuce and you get get a 24 hour unlimited ride pass for $5. The Fremont Street Experience really takes off aat night so I usually hit the strip in the day and head back to the Four Queens at night. Chicago Brewing Company (one of their restaurants) has great pizza and beer. Their other restaurant (magnolias) leaves a little bit to be desired. For those of you who insist on staying on the strip you may want to try staying downtown sometime. I think you will be surprised at how affordable and fun it could be. Where on the strip can you walk into a casino bar and buy an ice cold Corona or Heineken for $2.

We stayed 3 nights at the Four Queens and had a great time. We were allowed to check in early, even though check in was not until 4:00. The room was comfortable and the bathroom sufficient. Don't expect a 4 star hotel, but it was nice. There was some construction around or in the hotel some mornings that tended to be loud, but overall it was bearable. We ate at Magnolia's and it was okay. Be sure to get the coupon sheet from the Freemont office for a 2-for-1. The casino is nice but took all of our money. We really enjoyed being downtown and everything being so close. I don't think we will ever stay on the strip again.

Stayed in room in 1819 for two nights, this past weekend. We had no hot water in the shower. I informed the front desk the next morning at 5:00 am and was told that a maintenance man woud look into it, on arriving back in the hotel that afternoon, still no hot water.
The room was small and there was lots of static, you got a shock every time you turned on the lights and pressed the elevator button.
We had given a king bed with only three pillows and the comforter was stained.
You could hear noise from the other rooms next to you, so it as not that sound proof.

Any way, I woulkd just say it was OK!

Being a fan of downtown Las Vegas we opted to stay at the Four Queens based on the reviews. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our unit was very clean , roomy & comfortable! The location is in the center of the Freemont St Experience making it convenient to everything the area offers; we will definitely stay there again!

What a great and pleasant surprise with our stay at 4 Queens! While the room wasn't super huge, it was adequate for what we wanted. I do have to say the bathroom was small but for the money -also served our needs! We did have a plugged sink, but I called the front desk and within 15 minutes we have a maintenance fellow up to check out the problem, and within an hour he had us up an running! and all with a great attitude!! ! It was quiet, we overlooked Golden Nugget. Be sure to join the players club to use your card for great food at Magnolia's Generous portions and food was delicious! Gambling was great=had new machines and some old favorites.
Staying downtown was definitely a winning idea! also easy to use the bus system. thanks for reading my review-and I hope you enjoy your stay at Four Queens
