Checked into the Four Queens about 4:00 pm on 11/3/08, told the desk clerk that we were there for our 15th anniversary and asked if there were any upgrades available not really expecting much. I was pleasently surprised when she told us that she had moved us up to a suite at no charge.

Room was in the south tower away from Fremont Street on the 3rd floor, very clean and spacious and at the end of the hall so we didn't have drunks walking past the room making noise all night. Bathroom large and clean with double vanity, plenty of room for wife's and my stuff both. Large flat screen TV with two chairs and comfortable leather couch.

No complaints at all. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, maids always asked if we were ready for the room to be cleaned and never had any complaints if we weren't. On scale with the suite we had at the old Stardust Casino.

Parking was easy to reach from the elevators and the attendant at the ticket booth even told us about the VIP parking vouchers available at the front desk for guests instead of just charging us for parking. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Only complaint, and this has nothing to do with the hotel, the streets in the vicinity of the hotel were torn up and only one way in some areas due to construction. Very confusing and difficult to get to the parking garage at night or if you didn't know the area.

  • Liked — Location in relation to other casino's.
  • Disliked — No complaints.

Stayed at Four Queens in October for the third time for three nights. Really enjoy the location, casino, and Magnolias. Very glad to now have a safe in the room. We arrived at 8:30am and room was ready. Just what we asked for. Nice to have a coffee pot in the room. Stayed next 2 nights at Harrahs and no coffeepot. Room was cleaned, no plumbing issues. Casino is fun, drink service some of the best we had all trip. Magnolias is a little slow but no big deal. Looking forward to going back again

i got a great deal on this place. can not beat location and the area has so much to offer. can find some great deals on food. this is the second time i stayed at freemont and we took another couple for they first time and we all loved it. we went to the strip and walked ourself to death. i have stayed on the strip 4 times and i dont think i will ever stay on the strip again. we did use the bus ( the duce) to travel to the strip. the only good thing about it is the price $5. bus makes many stops and very crowed. dont get me wrong it works but a slow ride. we booked a limo for airport transfer . nice . we used bell limos. only $56. used a taxi/van ride back to airport and cost was $40 + tip. kinda of spendy i think.but all in all the four queens was a great hotel. stayed in room 1427 it was nice but our friends had room 1444 and it had a great view. food at the resturants at 4 queens was great and the price was right . i would stay at 4 queens again with out question.

Over the past 12 years my wife and I have visited Vegas many times. We have lodged at many different properties both on the strip and downtown. We believe we have found an appropriate 'home base' for our subsequent vists.

Check in was a breeze. From the curb to the room in less than 10 minutes. When making reservations I requested a room away from Fremont Street and it was granted. We had room 1015 North tower. The room and bathroom were not large but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked well and was fairly quiet but the plumbing noise from the shower was kind of annoying. Housekeeping did a great job and always asked if we needed anything. Coffee makers in the room is a plus. Flatscreen TV also a plus. Checking out was also pain free and quick. I guess I gambled enough on the tables to earn me some comps on the room. Hint: Have the floor folks rate your play at the tables and always use your players card at the slots. Check with the Casino Host or Slot Host before you check out to see if you qualify for any comps.

Most of the staff at the Four Queens were helpful and friendly. Other than a couple of grouchy wait staff at Magnolias everyone seemed cheerful. The blackjack and craps dealers were fun, especially on Halloween. Picture a clown supervising a sexy policewoman who is dealing blackjack to three divas. Fun times. Aside from a craps session at O'Shea's, we gambled exclusively at the Four Queens.

Whenever we venture out to the strip to catch a show or to see Big Elvis (at least once a trip!) it's only a short walk to The Deuce - the bus stop is at the corner of LV Blvd and Fremont, look for the big glass of beer! For $5 you can get a 24 hour pass that will get you from one end of the strip to the other and back downtown.

Good value, good service, good hotel, good gaming, good location downtown. We will definitely be returning the the Four Queens.

  • Liked — It's not ABSOLUTELY HUGE. Has great downtown vibe.
  • Disliked — A little smoky

Reserved a non-smoking room, ended up with a smoking room. Everything smelled like smoke...mattress, blankets, pillows. Moved to non-smoking next morning, black hair hanging on bathtub, took a shower & the tub clogged. Took 3 stops at the front desk (about 9pm) b4 finally fixed. Next day housekeeping left us 3 floor mats for shower towels. Will never stay at this pit again.
