“Attention single ladies...you have found your shangri-la!”

I am a 38 year old single woman who's a fairly frequent vegas visitor and i have finally figured out where to stay. I have stayed at several other hotels, venetian(families) mirage(elderly) mandalay (business). Let me fill you in girlfriends, all the single guys are at caesars. i attribute this to their phenominal sports pit and the pussycat dolls nightclub and other great clubs. there is way more of a sexy vibe going on at this place, check it out. the regular rooms are nothing special, the palace tower rooms have great bathrooms with a pool sized jacuzzi tub you will want to take home with you, but the new Augustus tower is where it's really at! Caesars is not cheap so consider staying somewhere else but hanging out here. they have all the best shows too! my sister and i were there for the comedy festival and it was awesome, celebrities everywhere. the shops are o.k.... when will all these places realize they have all the same stores! enough with the designer shops allready! get some more original boutiques. We ate at Mesa grill and it was fantastic, Bradley Ogden, not so much...so ladies, go, you'll have a blast...and guys, I'll see ya there!

“Pretty good hotel”

I had stayed at CP in an executive suite from 12/28-1/3/06. Although I found the hotel very busy, it wasn't long to get food at the Augustus Cafe. I highly recommend this place for food. It reasonably priced and very tasty. The encounters I had with the staff were fine. Nothing out of the way. The only complaint I had was I had booked the suite back in August and when I checked into the airport check in, I had asked for a strip view. Well, I got nothing but walls! Do not stay in room 6530. One window was a wall and the other was a partial wall view. It made the room so dark during the day that we had to keep all the lights on. I did send an email off to Harrah's so let's see what happens. Other than that, the room was nice. Two seperate rooms with a huge jacuzzi tub that definately fits two. Never heard anyone except for the drunks on nye but that was it. Overall good experience.

Had my first chance to stay at Caesar's this past weekend. Through my companies internal travel agent I was able to get rate that was $10 dollars lower than any other advertised rate. Checked on Friday at around 3 pm, with no lines. I was offered up-grades, $50 more per night for a "suite" in the Place tower and $120 per night for the Augustus tower. I had read that upgrades may not be the best use of your money unless you really desire/need the best room in the house so we declined the upgrades. We had room 1157 in the Roman tower which I believe is the oldest tower at Caesar's. The room was more than adequate and quite large compared to normal rooms. Our room at had view of the strip through a large floor to ceiling window. Bathroom was fine not opulent and did have a small TV. The one odd thing was that there was not closet, rather there was an any area in the bathroom to hang your clothes. In this area, behind the door, there was also a safe and place to store a bag. No big deal. Also, no mini-bar in the room, but not a concern w/ me.

All of the employees where professional and nice, and responsive when necessary. Had some noisy neighbors and security promptly addressed the problem.

We did eat at the sushi bar and it was great, not cheap, but the quality was first rate, sat next to a fish supplier and he said it was one of his favorites. Kats the Sushi chef was great, make sure and set in his area.

Did have a chance to go the popular night club Pure. It has a nice location, but plenty crowded, difficult event to dance, it pays to go to the club in the afternoon to find out the best way to get in as this place is extremely busy. The Club age ranges is the 20's so if you are an older folk like me, you may prefer the Shadow lounge.

We had a great time at Caesar's. With its combination of location and amenities, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

“A Huge Disappointment, Once Exclusive Now Showing Age”

Caesars Palace Classic Hotel

I travel for business extensively and just returned from a stay at Ceasar's. There were no non-smoking rooms available, so I took a smoking room which usually does not bother me. The desk clerk was nice and efficient and upgraded the room for me in the Forum Tower. The room's environment was barely tolerable from the smell and my clothes came back from the trip as if I had been in smokey bars throughout the trip. I have stayed in smoking rooms before but this room was pretty bad. The carpeting was old and had stains throughout the room and the bedspread and blanket were questionably acceptable. I had a hot tub in the bedroom area and large bathroom, but the shower area had mold all up and down the walls. It literally looked like the room had not been updated in thirty years! Very disappointing.
Being on business for the week I was in the room very little and did not have time to request a room change although the hotel was full. I found the staff I did come in contact with after my first encounter at registration to be aloof and unavailable. Others have mentioned before the prices charged for food and sundries which are aggravating for what you receive but are becoming more expected today. I presume Ceasars is letting itself go with age as the newer more exclusive hotels on the strip outdo it. I will acknowledge I was surprisingly disappointed by the stay. It is possible the new Augustus Tower is updated and it might be suggested you ask for a room there if you are staying at this hotel.

No doubt that Caesars Palace is visually impressive & huge, but it is unimpressive from the service standpoint. I checked in at the airport at 10:30 AM and was assigned a room immediately. On arrival at the hotel, there was no bellman to greet us, so I was left in the lobby of the Augustus Tower not knowing where to go. My room was in the Palace Tower, so when I found the main lobby, I asked one of the desk people for help & was told "they shouldn't have checked me in at the airport". Nice welcome! They did give me a map & I schlepped off with my bag to the other end of the hotel to my room.

The room was large & lovely with a great view of the pool area & the strip facing the Bellagio & MGM Grand. But the bedspread was very soiled & torn, & smelled of BO! I've never had the experience of being afraid of the bedspread in a $200 per night hotel. I called housekeeping & they changed the bedspread, but the new one was still a bit shabby though clean. The bathroom was beautiful with a jacuzzi tub.

The hotel is huge & overpriced. I could not get the soda machine on my floor to work & ended up paying $4 for a bottle of water! I recommend stocking up somewhere else. My room had no minibar.

I was here for business & the conference center was just downstairs from my room in the Palace Tower. Very convenient. At the end of the conference, I used the Business Center to ship my books back home. They totally blew that one. They managed to lose $600 of books & fortunately after several phone calls they were able to locate my books in the nick of time before they were shipped to someone else. I was still charged for the "service".

Be careful of your bill on checkout. They had precharged me for one night's stay on my credit card, but did not credit this back to me on my bill.

The shopping mall was awesome, but not somewhere I could actually shop. More of a curiousity for us regular people who don't regularly shop at Armani, Gucci,Dolce & Gabanna.

All in all, the hotel is magnificent, but I prefer smaller hotels with better service.
