Three friends and I traveled to Vegas because one of us was attending a conference. The rest of us piggy backed on his room. At check in we were offered an upgrade but due to using "company" funds he declined. Once we arrived in the "Romar Tower" room we promptly exited and went back for the upgrade. There's a reason there are no pictures of this room on Ceasar's website. It looked like a Motel 6 room. Once back at the check in desk we asked for the before mentioned upgrade. The clerk had already assigned that room so she gave us an even bigger room in the "Augustus Tower", for the same price as the smaller room. Lets just say we made a good decision. The room was clean, well furnished, great view, and we all slept well with no outside noise heard. As with most rooms in vegas, there was no coffee maker, no fridge, etc. Stay away from the food and drink bar. If you lift an item out of it's place, a sensor is alerted and you will be charged. We had to get creative when icing down our beer. The beds were very comfortable and AC worked very good. WiFi in the room is $15.00 a day.
The restaurants at Ceasar's are very expensive, $77.00 ribeye is a bit much. We only ate at Ceasar's for breakfast, in the food court. Average price for a 3 egg omelet, 4 pieces of toast, potatoes, and large coffee was $14.00. A little high but we couldn't eat all we were served. We did have a late night bacon cheesburger combo one night, same food court, $15.00, and it too was huge. Very good food as well.
I utilized the workout facilities for the three of the four days while there. It's normally $25.00 a day but they had a 3 days for $50.00 deal which was o.k. The gym was clean and the equipment was new but it lacked somewhat in space. It has a very small area for the hand weights and free weights. Other than that I was able to get a good workout in.
If you plan on getting some sun by the pool, plan on getting down there before 1000 a.m. If you don't, you'll find yourself walking in circles waiting on a chair to open. Even though it was crowded the chairs are only 3 rows deep in most areas so it wasn't too bad. Drinks at the pool are around $12.00 for 12 ounce and $19.00 for 16 ounce. Some kids but not alot. That"s important to me as I don't want to listen to a bunch screaming and crying while lounging. Spoke to a security guard who told us that two additional pools are supposed to open in Aug. 09 but they may be running a bit behind. That would bring the total to 5 pools.
The slots paid pretty well at Ceasar's. Three out of four of us took extra cash home from the slots. Can't speak for the blackjack tables or poker.
All in all the hotel is very clean and well maintained. No complaints about any of the staff. Plenty of bar maids both in the casino and at the pool.
I'm already planning another trip in Sept. of this year and I will be staying at Ceasar's Palace.

After an initial wait on the priority line (as a Platinum Reward Member), with those with the Gold card being taken ahead of me despite the intent of the PRIORITY line, the service was quick and supportive. The staff on initial registration and sign out were efficient, polite, and helpful. Although I was not placed in the wing I initially booked a room in, the room I received had a wonderful view. Even as a solo traveller, I felt safe and at ease. I will definitely stay at Caesars again and will recommend it to friends and family members - based on my experience. BTW - I even treated myself to a hair salon treatment (coloring) with my long time earned points and was again treated with respect.

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of my nine day stay and did enjoy it. The rooms were comfortable but a little dirty. The bathroom was awesome had a shower and bathtub separate. There was construction going on at the pool that was annoying couldn't relax. Lots of slots to choose from on the casino floor. Good drink service and nice costumes. The shops were fun lots and lots of them top of the line. I probaly would not stay here again but it was not bad I just didn't feel that comfortable there.

Can't beat some of the rates in Vegas right now so we couldn't resist a quick week vacation. We picked Caesars Palace for it's great mid-strip location (we didn't plan to really leave the strip and did not want to rent a car). Here's how we found it:

Location = Mid-strip can't beat it. You will do a lot of walking with thousands of complete strangers but....that's Vegas. The hotel is HUGE, lots and lots of walking so bring the right shoes.

Rooms = We upgraded to the Palace tower upon arrival for an additional $25.00 a night. This is the closest tower to the pool and that was one of main reasons for going. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom, excellent jacuzzi tub and separate shower. We heard horror stories about the Roman tower and wanted to avoid it at all costs.

Housekeeping = top notch, room was kept very clean and no personal items were disturbed.

Prices = Food and drink are not cheap at Caesars; the food court is the best bet where most meals were about $10.00 each. Soft drinks at the pool are $3 to $4 a piece. Alcohol at the bars is armed robbery, one night my wife and I each had a simple shot and it was $30.00 for both!

Pools = You may have heard the pools are being upgraded or rather new additions. They are in the process of adding new pools and finishing construction on a new tower and meeting facilities.....all of this is around the pool. Dust and construction noise surround 50% of the pool area and you can't help but notice them. The pool chairs fill up on the early side, we were at the pool by 8am and had no problem but by 11am you were out of luck. There are two main pools available now with a 3rd "European" pool available for an extra charge. Not enough chairs for the crowd that hits the area so get there early if you want to sit.

Bottom line; nice and big place pick the right tower and wait a few months if you plan on spending time at the pool.
