We stayed at the Paris Hotel but walked across the street to Caesar's Palace to see their hotel and shop and have some breakfast. There was some construction going on and the hotel is very gorgeous but, it is quite a hike getting to the casino and shopping area itself. The shops were too high-priced for our budget and about the only thing we did enjoy was the aquarium. The kids loved looking at that! On our way out, we stopped to eat some pastries and have coffee at one shop then further on out, we stopped for a coke at an outdoor bar/snack joint. Talk about rude, they told my husband that he had to keep our kids out of the area. It was an outdoor type seating area and the only way to order drinks was to go up to the counter. My husband was very upset. He grabbed his coke and we told ourselves we'd never go back there.
We thought that Vegas was starting to cater more to families and children since most travelers take their families along. We didn't get that feeling from our recent trip.

What can we say, it was fantastic! We spent four nights in March 2005 and had a petite suite in the Palace Tower. It was a special trip for our anniversary and Ceasars' were very kind to us. The place is amazing and if you can afford it then it is really worth saving the extra and staying here. It is the most spectacular hotel on the strip. No words can explain the enormity of the this hotel, or any of the other hotels on the strip. Caesars staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room was fabulous, immaculate and very spacious. We felt as though we had been transported back into another time, one of opulence, splendour and illustrious surroundings heralding the imoprtance of each guest. The hotel staff and musicians were brilliant. There is so much to do and see within the hotel itself we really had to steal ourselves away to actually go outside Caesars. Everyone should experience Caesars once in their live (or twice if they are lucky!)

I was at Caesars/Las Vegas in March '05 - we stayed in the Centurion Tower which for some reason does not have an ice machine - anywhere! We had to go to another tower to get ice - or get room service - & if you've stayed in any of these hotels, everything is very distant! Room service however was very prompt. The pools were heated which was very nice - the snack bar was not open due to some re-construction but it's early in the season. We asked the pool staff where the hot tub was & they really didn't know then mentioned one on the 2nd floor in the 'spa' area - the hot tubs were in back of the pools! I still don't know why they didn't tell us that.
The rooms were very nice - upon check in i requested a view & got to look out the window at pipes & the other tower! Called the desk & they mentioned they were NOT a 'view' hotel...???? --- When our room was ready after 5, our room looked out at the Flamingo - i thought they weren't a view hotel? & there are rooms that overlook the beautiful pools -????? whey didn't they mention this? It seems like if you're not spending an enormous amount of money, they don't care. We had a pkg. deal so maybe this is part of that..... a very beautiful hotel w/lots of shopping!! Not very many full breakfast restaurants however & the restaurants are a bit pricey - but that's Vegas!!

I can't say that the trip to LV started well (huge delay at O'Hare) but Ceasar's Palace sure made up for it by upgrading our room to a Palace Suite upon arrival.

After traveling for what seemed all day, we were tired and a bit out of sorts but Julian the desk clerk was quick to brighten moods with a upgraded room. What else needs to be said about Ceasar's, its the best location and offers tons of amenities and great restruants.

My friends and I were very impressed with the place our entire stay and got a kick out of the interesting clientele at some of the late night bars.

Usually I just go for the cheapest price when picking a hotel on the strip but I may rethink that attitude given the great service we got at CP.

we were upgraded to a "spa" room. basically had a jacuzzi tub. However in exchange we were NOT on a non-smoking floor. Smoke was everywhere. Cigarrette burns on the carpet. We were in the Forum tower. Horrid. would not recommend staying here. Small dark room. Not business-friendly.
