I think I have stayed at just about all of the strip hotels and have never felt compelled to write a review, until now.
The accomodations here are not worth the price. Granted it was Nascar weekend and they raise the room rates anyway, but still. Stayed in the Palace Tower, but you'd never know it was the "newer" tower. The furniture was well worn and the wood was even broken off of some things. The bedspread needed to be replaced and the pillows were the worst. The bathroom was nice, but was only supplied with 2 towels. Go figure.
I will admit that it was nice being so close to the Forum Shops, but that was the only advantage to staying here.
Next time, will book again with the Mirage or Bally's.

We stayed at Caesars Palace from 3/10/05 - 3/13/05. It was great! We arrived at the hotel about 1pm and were able to check right in. I asked if there were any upgrdes and she said yes. I can upgrade you and wave the $30.00 a night fee. We stayed in the Fourum Tower on floor 76. The bathroom was huge with a spa tub that fit two people with no problem. The only problem with the room was the grout in the shower. It was a little discolored, but its a old hotel these things happen. We loved the pools and the night clubs. There was some construction going on so one of the pools and the hot tubs were closed. The food at Cafe Largo was great. The drinks at Neptunes pool bar hit the spot. Some people say the hotel was to big and hard to get around. We had no problem finding things at all. It was one of the happening places at night, lots of people.

We were there for a wedding at the Viv Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. I do not recomend this place at all!!!!

Went to the Cirque show Mystere at Treasure Island and that was awesome! I also recommend the roller coaster at NYNY if you are into that.

We had an awsome trip, but next time will try another hotel that might be alittle cheaper but just as nice. Like NYNY, Paris, or Luxor.

Stayed here March 9 - 12, 2005 The weather was fantastic!
Checked into the hotel at the Airport --- Highly recommended! Took about 5 minutes. I did request the Palace Tower and it was not available. We were given the Roman Tower.
Cab fee from airport to hotel was $10.60. Make sure your cab has the charge listed on side of vehicle. Our first cab driver did not have the prices and when I asked him how much he said about $16 - $18 PER person! I should have reported him.
Our room smelled HORRIBLE.......thick, stale, smoke (non-smoking room) We ended up changing rooms. The rooms are nothing special for the price you pay.
Upon check-out, we asked for an itemized bill. There was an added expense of a massage with a $25 tip from the Spa that we did not have done!

Went to a convention at Caesars and stayed at the basic room there.

Pros:
1) rooms are big and spacious
2) the adjacent Forum shops are great

Cons:
1) Room smells like smoke even though it's non-smoking
2) stains on carpet, table not in good condition
3) hole in sheets
4) small tub in bathroom

Many people in the past posts complained about the view. Perhaps it's because we checked in mid-week, but our room has a nice view of the Flamingo hotel across the strip. Nothing special, but at least it's not a view of the rooftop or of another room.

I think this hotel is way overpriced and not very convenient unless all you want to do is shop at the Forum Shop or go to Bellagio or Mirage. It's difficult trying to get to the monorail (on the other side of the strip), and there's not much for kids to do at the hotel. I've stayed at Monte Carlo in the past and I think the room/view is nicer there for a fraction of the cost.

A final note - the 'Engineering' department called one night - apparently the overflow drain in our tub didn't connect properly and flooded the room on the floor below us.

Stayed in the Palace Tower. View was wonderful! Bathroom was a Palace in and of itself--I have lived in apartments smaller than this bathroom! The casino had the nicest vibe of any in Vegas!
