Caesars Palace was great! Petite suites are very nice especially the bathrooms . The maid services were excellent. We had a room on the 17 th floor the view was perfect. Caesars is all around great .

My wife and I stayed at Caesars for the Labour Day Weekend (9/3/04-9/6/04). We checked in at the airport, which was a breeze. Our room was average, but that is what we wanted and paid for. The room was clean and the maid service was prompt. The casino, the restaurants and the Forum Shops were excellent. Check out was even easier via TV. I've read several bad reviews of Caesars, and while I agree that some have probably had horrible experiences here, I just wanted to say that our stay at Caesars made our entire trip to Vegas that much more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.
We have been to Vegas 6 times in the last 3 years and were really looking forward to a stay at Ceaesars. I am sorry to report our stay was less than we expected and what we paid for.
We booked the upgrade in the Palace tower and got an average room overlooking the parking lot. Room was a little tired but a nice bath. Pools are great and the spa was very good as well.
Service at the desks and resterauns were average at best. We made an anniversary dinner reservation at Terrazza and arrived on time to be told they had a water break and we had to go elsewhere.... Very disappointing! Casino is large and food choices are good but Bellagio really stands out....
For the money I would stay at Mandalay Bay everytime for many reasons and Bellagio when price permits!
FYI, New tower takes view of Bellagio fountains and creates a lot of noise and distraction at the present time. Overall... Not a big fan of Caesar at this time!
We stayed 6 nites at Ceasars Palace, 16 sept. There were no checkin problems, no queue at all. We checked in at noon, and as our room wasn't ready (it wasn't supposed to be as checkin is not till 3 anyway) our luggage was stored and we got a key so we could go out to the pool and a number to call to check if the room was ready rather than having to walk back to reception. The room in the forum tower was great, not exactaly newly refurbed, but clean and huge (spa room), the jaccuzi was wonderfull. Couldn't work out why all the jets were at the "feet" end of the bath, but after a day walking up and down the strip it made far more sense.
The cocktail waitresses were attentive, brought plenty of drinks even though we were mostly playing the 5c / 25c machines and the reception staff were very friendly and helpfull (my purse got stolen, not in the hotel, with all my ID and credit cards but they sorted everything out for me and were very attentive)
Definately would stay here again. The negative reviews on this site had me worried, but if you are going soon, I wouldn't be at all concerned. The only thing that annoyed me slightly was the pool was closed one afternoon due to "inclement weather", OK so it was a bit windy, but it was still 90° plus. They should try UK beaches even in the middle of summer !
Caesars is fun to gamble at, but the layout is very confusing. We stayed 3 nights and never could figure out where we were (yes, we were sober). The rooms were just OK. Checking in and out was a nightmare. We had to store our luggage upon check in and when we tried to get it out, it took over an hour to find. They never had enough people at the desk and they were in no hurry to speed up the process. I like to game here, but would stay other places before I returned here.
