We stayed in the Augustus Towers, make sure you ask for a strip view. I didn't think it mattered, but it does. We over looked the Bellagio fountain and every day they change the pattern. What a view, it was so nice at night coming back to our room and watching it with a glass of wine. The room was nice and clean with two sinks which comes in handy if you would like to fill one with ice and have cold drinks. The bar fridge has no room for your own stuff. I had heard that there was no coffee makers in the room so I brought my own. You can go down to Walgreens and purchase one for 10 bucks and it will save you a long walk in the morning searching for your fix. You could order room service but you will PAY $4 a cup. Maid service came in twice a day. the lobby and casino were clean and well kept. Drink girls were really good, it didn't matter if I was playing a pennie slot or a dollar one. Food in the resturants are expensive so bring lots of money for food. Over all a great place to stay. Very centalized and you can catch the bus to go up and down the strip out side the forum shops. Make sure you bring your running shoes because there is alot of walking to do.

At first, I sort of liekd the room I had in the older part of the complex. Room didnt have and iron (which I needed badly). Then I noticed there was no door to the bathroom....sorry but when youre with others on vacation some business is meant to be private! I went down and complained, got upgraded to the newer room and at no charge...yet upon checking in they were trying to get me to pay extra to move into the same room. Room service was very expensive here. I must say though the grounds were gorgeous, the mall is excellent.

“Wonderful & Luxurious Place”

Caesars Palace

I stayed at Caesars Palace (CP) from June 27- July 1, 2008 and had the most wonderful time. I was really worried after reading some of the reviews online but I did not encounter any problems.

CP really defines what luxury is and I found it to be the most beautiful hotel and casino of all the major ones on the strip. Our check in was a breeze took about five minutes and we checked in at about 3 p.m. The hotel staff was friendly.

Our room was in the Palace tower on the 19th floor the room was just amazing. It was clean from the bed to the carpet to the jacuzzi tub to the shower. It was all top notch the decorations the room had plentiful mirrors to get ready and washroom was very spacious and clean. The beds were great but after a long day I could have slept anywhere.

We put a do not disturb sign on the door knob so were never bothered by the cleaning staff who start cleaning at 8 a.m we used to get the room cleaned later in the day. The cleaning staff was courteous and were willing to pass you extra towels if required.

We had the partial view of the strip, and a complete view of the pools which looked great from the top. We went to the pool on most days it was busy on the weekends but you could still find chairs and on Monday the pool was a lot quiter. The service at the pool was good although food is expensive but it is easy to find a waitress to address your needs. The pool was clean and a very fun place.

I am surprised by people complaining about staff being rude as we found all the staff friendly and helpful. You get treated the way you treat others so be polite and respectful you will get that back. I found our room to be great if you are bothered by a chip in the paint or other little things then good luck.. We never heard any construction noise in our room may be because of the location, we did hear the construction noise a few times when we were at the pool.

All over CP they have great statues of various Roman characters decorations and fountains to complement, all this adds to your experience. The forum shops are a great viewing experience but prices are way too high.....The pure night club is really rocking and with a large patio you can enjoy the sights of Vegas and party at the same time..

.I would return to Caesars in a heartbeat and I am astonished at how some of the reviews found everything negative in CP. This is a great place to stay and have fun.

i have made over 100 trips to las vegas and have stayed at nearly every hotel on the strip. i've seen a lot of improvements and many hotels come and go.
rooms were not nearly as nice as the venetian, the staff could have definitely been friendlier, and the payouts could have definitely been higher. it is very tiring to walk around and get to the room. the food is as expensive as the property is expansive. have to admit, caesars is not one of my favorites

“Bed Bugs”

Caesars Palace

Jul 2, 2008

I stayed in Cesar Place for 3 nights in June 2008 and I was bitten on both sides of my body on the side under my arms down the side by bed bugs. I told the hotel manager and they told me that they will block off the room and check it.They advised me 2 weeks later via a phone call that the room did not have bed bugs. I took pictures of my bites and they still say the room don't have bugs. No way to prove it unless I went back to Las Vegas and asked to see the room, but that would cost me air fair and not worth spend the money. If you get bit at a hotel take pictures of the bugs if you can or better yet kill one and take to the manager and put it on his desk. I suggest you stay away from Cesar Place since they will just lie about it if you get bitten by bed bugs in their hotel. the bit took about 2 weeks to heal up. The idea of Bed Bugs bitting me makes my me sick!
