Given the size of the hotel the service was very good. Room service came within 30 minutes for breakfast and all the help were extremely nice whenever we had a request or question. No coffee pot in the room which seems odd in this day and age. Nice room with comfortable beds and bathroom with a separate shower and tub. Get a room facing the strip and fountains. The fountain show while hokey was fun to watch accompanied by the music on the TV. The lobby seemed to be the busiest of all the hotels we visited. Despite the crowds we checked in very quickly. Look for a deal and then its probably worth it.

“Lived up to our expectations”

This is a wonderful hotel. On arrival the huge reception area was swarming with people but we didn't have to wait long for check in. We were offered various pricey room upgrades and declined them but were given a free upgrade to a lake view room anyway. Room itself fabulous, especially huge bathroom with lots of marble, massive shower, enormous bath and every kind of toiletry you could think of. Enjoyed watching the fountains doing their stuff (from our room), which was really spectacular. The lake is really pretty and just like an Italian lake (bizarre when the "Eiffel Tower" is directly opposite and "Venice canals" just along the strip. Ate dinner in one of the hotel restaurants (Olives) which was very busy and good atmosphere. Food there really excellent and not too expensive.

the hotel room was nice ,location was good, beautiful inside and out. the front desk made a very bad error on my bill. there was another person there with the same name and they put his charges on my bill. i was paid up but for 3 in room light breakfasts. they charged me $2100 for this and at check out time i had a very difficut time with the front desk. they then realized it was their mistake. no one said they were sorry for the problem, very rude. they did not offer to help us get to the airport as we were saying this mistake could result in missing our plane. a letter to the president the next day resulted in a half hearted ,we are sorry. we will give you a room upgrade on your next visit ,IF available!! THERE ARE TOO MANY GOOD HOTELS TO PUT UP WITH THAT KIND OF SERVICE. WE STAY AT THE WYNN NOW!! JOESPH MENDOLA PITTSBURGH,PA.

We stayed at the Bellagio for a couple nights in mid January and were ,for the most part, very impressed. Hotel was gorgeous, rooms were definately above average. That being said we had a few concerns that we ended up addressing with one of the managers on duty when we checked out. Here is what they were
1. Smoke smell woke my husband up in the middle of the night despite being on a non-smoking floor
2. Stained bathmat
3. Stained bedspread.

The manager was very apologetic and took the complaints very seriously. I left feeling I had been heard and action would most likely be taken.
I figure a hotel with around 4000 rooms can't possibly get everything perfect but I sure did get the impression they try and are willing to own up and fix any problems that arise. I would definately give them another try should I find myself back in Vegas in the future.

Upstairs is great, but the reception is more like the reception of a three star conference hotel with 500 people all checking in at the same time. The downstairs is noisy and has no class. You also have to walk 300-500 yards through a noisy casino to get to your room. Its just not a hotel thats worth a large nightly room rate. Worse still, right next door they are building a giant 66 acre complex night and day. So beware which room you pick.

I stay in the best and the worst for my job, and this was a really a strange experience . Upstairs in the bedroom you get a five star room with five star service. Downstairs Ugh! Are you Confused? I was.
