CHECK-IN:
Arrived Thurs @1pm and was able to check into our room right away.. the front desk was very helpful in helping my sister and I get a room closer to our friend's. She even gave us the option of being "next to", but lower floor; or several room down, but higher floor (better view). We took the latter!

ROOM:
Upon checking into our room (which was clean and beatiful - the neat feature was the electronic curtains!) we called up our luggage. Again, we were greeted with a courteous and helpful staff. He brought up our stuff w/ care and asked if it's our first time (answered yes). He proceeded to explain all the available amenity in the room and the hotel surrounding area.

BELLAGIO:
We then spent the afternoon checking out the place.. which is HUGE. The garden was LOVELY (the one at the Wynn was a joke compares to this one). The Casino is very nice also; and felt even stronger about it after visiting other ones (Monte Carlo - crappy, Treasure Island - standard, The Palms - OK, Aladdin - stinky). The only one I thought was nicer than Bellagio was the Wynn's casino.

FOOD - RESTAURANTS/SNACKS:
We tried the Bellagio Cafe which is defnitely nothing special... go somewhere else for a quite bite. However, the Gelato was excellent.. almost reminds me of ones I had in Italy and the crapes they made at Jean Philippe definitely worth a try!! Not to mention the awesome looking chocolate fountain! We had the Bellagio Buffet on fri night for 4 and didn't have to wait on line at all (arrived at 6:30pm). The food is OK, not great.. but according to my friend who actually lives in Vegas, the Bellagio is one of the best that he tried (because of variety). The servers again, were very nice.

SPA:
My sister and I both had the fushion massage while our other friend had the Ashiatsu therapy. They both claimed their services to be excellent, but I felt my therapist was below par in skills, nor was she as friendly as other staff. The good thing about going to the spa is that you get to use its amenity the entire day (sauna, steam room, gym) without the $25 fee. some girls just hang out there all day!

CHECK-OUT:
Easy, quick, no hassle. Printed us a final bill of the charges to the room and off we go.

CONCLUSION:
Definitely recommend the Bellagio to anyone wanting to visit LV. I will definitely return as well. The only complaint I have was that the "O" wasn't showing at the time of my stay!

Just got back from taking my wife for a birthday weekend in Vegas at the Bellagio and it was wonderful.

The concierge is an amenity you should utilize before you even arrive. I was able to have a limo arranged for pickup at the airport, and make dinner reservations at Le Cirque within 30 mintues of booking. I then went on to have the concierge arrange for things like a Chocolate swan and berry fondu to be deliverd 30 minutes after check-in, as well as flower petals and chocolate covered strawberries placed in the room when we got back from dinner another night. She was able to get tickets to the expressionist gallery if we wanted them, she arranged a free gift parfume set because it was my wife's birthday. Everything was excellent and on time.

The room was bigger than expected and while it didn't overlook the fountain, it was directly over the pool and gardens which was nice as well. It had an oversized shower, big tub (no whirlpool), motorized drape, excellent armoir and a stylish (but comfortable bed)

The buffet and the cafe Bellagio looked nice but were very busy everytime we wanted to go so we opted for room service for several meals and it was awesome. Even better, room rates in December were great, it wasn't packed, and while just off the casino, the rooms had a nice seperated feel to them. Luggage ticket service at check-in was awesome as well.

Small nag points:
1. The limo we arranged to pick us up came complete with full ash trays and a nice smell of smoke. Not so cool for $60 an hour.

2. If you don't want maid service, use the privacy notice; otherwise you get relentless maids banging on your door twice daily, and then just walking in.

3. The one bad thing about our concierege is that the dinner reservations she made for us 30 days in advance apparently didn't show up at Le Cirque. I did receive a confirmation in the email, but they didn't have it a the restaurant when we arrived. They were polite about it, and worked us in after about 20 min. That threw off the car ride pickup, and caused us to nearly sprint in formal wear to the MGM Grande for our KA show. So that kinda sucked.

4. The business center closes at 8PM, they charge $11/day for high speed internet with no wireless in room, VPN traffic was blocked, and the concierge station closes at 8PM as well. This was especially annoying when we needed to arrange another car and no one could help us. For business travellers I think more could have been done.

The Bellagio is the nicest place to stay in Vegas because there's no schtick. So much in Vegas needs a theme or a reference point that is reiterated in every aspect of the hotel. It just 'is' everything you think of when you want the best in Vegas, and it does it a subtle manner.

Checked in to the hotel Dec. 16 and what a place!! The staff was very nice and the rooms are incredible. We loved the casino and went to several other hotel casinos but always wanted to return to the Bellagio. The only problem we had was the dinner buffet. What a JOKE!!!
Friday and Saturday nights are billed as the "gourmet buffet" and charge $34.95 person(plus tax) versus $26.95 M-Th. We must have missed something because there was NOTHING gourmet about it. Our first mistake was standing in line for an hour and a half. Once we paid and were seated at a table, we witnessed the utter choas of the so-called gourmet buffet. People bumping into each other, picking food up and then putting it back, placing dirty dishes on serving tables, etc...The food was marginal at best. There was sushi, alaskan crab claws, and beef wellington, as well as the usual fare that you would find at a tourist trap (bad pizza, stir fried rice, soft serve ice cream) but nothing worth $35.00 a person.
Save your time and money and eat somewhere nice.

I was in Las Vegas for a conference and stayed at the Bellagio for one night. Since it was a hosting hotel for the conference, I was able to stay at a slightly discounted rate. For that rate I expected a room and nothing much more. However, at check-in, I nicely asked the front desk if there might be a room available with a bit of a view of the lake; I was nicely suprised when I opened my door and the room had a really good view (though angled) of the lake and the dramatic fountain show (the music, of which, is piped in through a dedicated tv channel; each show has different music and different choreography). Once the sun went down and the lights of the Strip went on, the view was knock-down gorgeous with the fountain show and its backdrop of the Paris Hotel and its elegantly lighted Eiffel Tower.

The room was lovely, including a wonderful bathroom with the absolute best shower ever!! I also liked the electronic drapes; however, the pillows were thick and hard and, therefore, tough on the neck.

If you don't want to spend an arm and a leg for a casual meal, such as lunch (e.g., the sandwich place next to the sports bar is about the ugliest thing going and not inexpensive, though the hot sandwiches were a good size and tasty), take the tram to the Monte Carlo where there is a food court.

I really enjoyed staying at the Bellagio. It's beautiful, the ambiance is great, and it was decorated beautifully for Christmas.

I can not believe people ever have anything negative to say about this amazing hotel! This place is beautiful, the staff is incredible, it is clean, you can actually win on the games, there is great shopping and if there is anything missing it is central to the entire stip with Caesars right next door and the Paris across the street! We had the best time of our lives, great entertainment, great food. Our room overlooked the fountains. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are nice enough to live in! The Bellagio is just awesome and let me tell you one more thing, they DO have the greatest pillows I have ever slept on!
