We arrived at the Bellagio July 7 looking forward to a luxurious stay. For twice the price of Caesar's Palace we were expecting a lot, but were sadly disappointed. For our first room they assigned us the old tower on the 22nd floor. We arrived to find our bed sinks and the accommodations were not appropriate for a hotel with a 5 star rating. After complaining to the front desk for several hours, where they force you to keep calling every hour to see if another room becomes available, we were relocated to a room on the 22nd floor of the spa tower. The bed in the second room was much better, the room was significantly nicer but still small and not worth the extra money. Our second room was an adjoining room, which, after checking trip advisor, we had read that you could hear the people in the next room, so we again requested a room change. We went to speak to the manager at the front desk who was rude and appeared to have no intention or desire to help us and refused to hold another room for us. Again, we were told to call until a room becomes available. We spent that night in the adjoining room only to be awoken by our neighbours whose every word we were able to hear, just as trip advisor had warned. Finally, after many more calls to the front desk, we were moved to another room on the 21st floor of the spa tower. This room was smaller than the second but appeared to meet our specifications of a non-smoking, king size bed, non-adjoining room...that was until we found over 20 cigarette butts in the ashtray near the elevator. Why would there be an ashtray on a non-smoking floor? Tired of complaining and wasting our time calling the front desk every hour on the hour we kept this room for the duration of our stay. At check-out, we asked if this was a non-smoking floor and the woman at the front desk said yes. With no sign stating that it is a non-smoking floor (as there was on the 22nd floor) we found this hard to believe. Also, there was a charge of $14/day to use the internet, what a rip-off!
The pool was fairly nice, and despite reviews to the contrary the helicopters over the pool area were not disruptive. The casino at the Bellagio was our favourite; it was quieter than the rest, spread out and less overwhelming. Also, if you have a chance to see "O" we highly recommend it, it was great.
Other than the Bellagio debacle here is a rundown of the restaurants on the strip:
-FIX (Bellagio) - very good but overpriced
-Prime (Bellagio) - very good, expensive, but probably worth it
-Buffet at the Bellagio - pretty solid, many options
-Cafe Gelato (Bellagio) - the gelato is GREAT!
-Tao (Venetian) - okay, overprices and noisy
-Mesa Grill (Caesar's Palace) - pretty good, lunch prices better than dinner prices
-Buffet at Wynn - similar to Bellagio with more options
Overall, we had an enjoyable stay in Las Vegas but would stay elsewhere next time. Our friends were at Caesar's Palave and had a better room for less money.
P.S. Bring Chapstick, lips burn easily in the Vegas sun.

We booked this online direct with the hotel, then kept an eye on the prices and when they dropped for our dates we cancelled and rebooked and saved money, no cancellation fee!
We came to Vegas to get married and wanted to stay at The Bellagio, we had a lakeview room and the view was outstanding, especially at night. The room was lovely, nice marble bathroom and comfy bed.
The hotel is beautiful, lots of nice things to look at.
Service was ok, nothing special. But in honesty we didn't expect the service to be brilliant.
Would definately stay here again though, it' s Vegas and is what it is!

Having spent two weeks at the Bellagio in 2008, I couldn't wait to get back there and had absolutely no hesitation in choosing this Hotel when booking my trip. I spent a week there with my partner at the beginning of July and as always, everything was excellent. I cannot recommend this Hotel more highly.

Before we had even stepped out of the transfer coach, there was a member of bell staff greeting us with a warm welcome and assisting us with our luggage. Whilst the reception area was the usual hustle and bustle, we were dealt with inno time at all. The check in process was highly efficient as always and the check in agent could not have been more professional or helpful. Even though the reception area was busy, the process was unhurried and we were provided with all the relevant information - nothing was too much trouble. We requested a non-smoking room on a high floor with a lake view and that is exactly what we got.

The room itself was superb in every respect - well decorated and spotlessly clean. The furnishings were of the usual very high standard and I could not fault any aspect of the room or its facilities. As we had been on a 2 week holiday, we asked for some extra coat hangers and in no time at all, we had a dozen or more delivered by a member of the housekeeping team. The room was kept spotless throughout our stay and the room was contstantly replenished with clean towels and tidied at all times of the day. Superb!

We utilised the overwhelming majority of the restaurants, they are all superb in every respect. Whilst some people will say that the restaurants are pricey, as with anything, you get what you pay for. The service, quality and surroundings you get at all the eateries are exceptional and well worth the money. I am already looking forward to dining there on my next trip!

There are a wonderful array of shops, boutiques and cafes situated throughout the Hotel that cater for all tastes and whilst again rather pricey, you are staying at the Bellagio after all. The only one criticism I have of the main Hotel shop located by the elevators is that the service is painfully slow and whilst the staff are highly professional and helpful, someone really does need to look at the software in use at the tills. Whenever I used this shop, there were long lines at every till no doubt due to the system in use. As for the Casino, I think it is by far the best on the Strip. The Pool area is wonderful too and I cannot fault it - loads of bathing areas and pools, plenty of sun loungers and seating facilities, highly attentive staff, fluffy clean towels - pure luxury.

On checking out, I noticed that there were a few erroneous items that had been automatically charged when using the mini-bar due to the highly sensitive sensors. Whilst there is a notice warning you of this, it is impossible to take the kettle chips without moving the internet cable pack so I was charged for an internet cable 5 separate times - at $13.99 a go! When I mentioned this to the Agent, it was refunded without question along with sincere apologies which sums up the absolute professionalism with which this Hotel is managed.

Thank you Bellagio for making my second holiday in Vegas the best ever. This Hotel goes from strength to strength and even in the space of one year since I last visited, I noticed a number of extra touches that have been made. The attention to detail at this Hotel is unquestionable and I look forward to staying at the Bellagio in 2010.

Just returned from the Bellagio with my husband and we had an absolute fantastic time...We were able to check in immediately..and had a beautiful corner room in the Spa Towers with beautiful views of the pool and also could see the fountains and Paris from the side....Every meal was delicious with a great staff with the exception of The Yellowtail, good food by the staff seemed like they were out of it....But every other breakkfast, lunch and dinner did not disappoint....Prime Steakhouse was delicious with the most friendly and professional staff....We got a free dessert because we had to wait a few minutes before our waiter came to the table,,,,Loved this hotel and would definitely stay there on our next trip out to Vegas..
