Located perfectly for the whole strip The Bellagio is probably the best overall hotel in Vegas. I found the Venetian a little too OTT and the Bellagio is just about the perfect mix of opulance and entertainment / fun.

I especially liked the pool areas, there was always plenty of sunloungers available and the pools were huge. Room service twice a day was a nice touch also, the rooms were huge and had eveything you could want / need.

The Bellagio is a beautiful hotel located on a terrific section of the Strip. I was lucky enough to get a free room upgrade to a Strip view - fantastic! The room looked across to the Paris Hotel and overlooked the Bellagio Fountains. The front desk and maids were terrific, friendly, efficient and professional in every way. I can't say the same for the wait staff in the hotel restaurants. The wait staff were generally surly and inefficient. The food was mediocre at best. We ate in all of the hotel restaurants and were equally disappointed. It is hard to believe that a hotel as classy as the Bellagio would allow the restaurants to be so poorly run. Not to worry though, your stay at the Bellagio will be great - just eat somewhere else!

Best Breakfast every, and the rooms were nice and clean. Watch out on a weekend though, queues are crazy

After visiting Las Vegas once a year the last 15 years, it was finally time to check out the Bellagio. For some reason I never booked a room here, but this time I finally did.
And we were not disappointed (we = me and my wife). When we checked in I asked for a 'nice' room and we were upgraded to a room with a view. In the 'new' tower. We got a room with a full frontal view on Paris Las Vegas and (more importantly) the famous Bellagio fountains. Every 15 minutes a show from our own view (with the accompanying music on channel 22 on the TV!).
The room itself was very nice. A huge bathroom, with a big bath and a big shower (you can easily get 2 people under that shower :-) ). Everything very clean and every evening a turndown service. The only 'negative' thing I can think of is the fact that walking from your room to anywhere in the hotel takes some time, but then that's true for most of the big Las Vegas hotel/casino's, so not something to worry about.

The pool area is very nice. Enough space to handle the guest and a number of bigger and smaller pools. The only thing I can complain about is the fact that it took as a looooong time to get attention from waitresses that walk around serving drinks. This happened during our entire stay (4 days), so that seems to be an issue.
The pool is nice and quiet, which is very different from Mandalay Bay where we stayed the week before (alway very, very busy with loud music).

We had a very late dinner in the cafe, which was ok. We didn't have dinner in any of the other restaurants, so I can't comment on that.
The good thing is that the location of the Bellagio is perfect: it is right on the strip with all the other hotel/casino's within walking distance (even at the high temperatures during our stay it was ok to walk these small distances).

Overall: a very pleasant stay in a beautiful hotel. I will certainly come back in the future!
