We had a partial lake view room in the spa tower.....

The Good.....
1. Beautiful common areas
2. Free
3. The amenities rocked!! In addition to the normal stuff, they also included hairspray, a toothbrush, bath salts and a loofa. (I am not sure if we were given extra stuff because we were on a suite floor or if this is usual)
4. The Buffet (Yum!!)
5. View of Paris from our room at night was stunning
6. Fountain show
7. (Steam) shower was large and had good water pressure
8. Bose clock radio

The Bad.....
1. Crowded common areas
2. The room we reserved was sold out so we were downgraded
3. Customer service was a little suspect; none of the employees went out of thier way to smile or be helpful
4. The view of City Center from our room. Yuck!!
5. The room in the spa tower had two beds and one chair. Only one of us could sit and watch the lake show at a time comfortably. Seriously, could they not have put a second chair in the room?
6. The toilet faces the shower and there isn't that much space between the two. This seemed like a bad layout.
7. They piled the pillows in shams and the duvets that they (probably) use on the beds in the room. (This is where the extra chairs should have been.) They never actually made the bed with these items durring our stay.
8. Television was small, had bad sound and was dated - 27 inch rear projection.

Overall, I don't think we would pay to stay in this hotel because we always felt that we were an after thought. We stayed at GVR and Palazzo during this trip and thought that there rooms were much nicer in those two hotels and we were treated much more kindly at both of those hotels.

This hotel blew my mind. Opulent without being over the top (okay, perhaps a little), luxurious while still being completely comfortable and functional! Check in is a little hairy and the lines can get long, but it's so beautiful that you can't help gaping as you wait. The rooms were very nice. I never questioned the security of my luggage (as I have at other 5 star hotels) when we left for the day. I assume the suites and higher levels are much more fabulous, but I was happy with where we were.
We booked through www.VEGAS.com and got a perfectly wonderful deal (flight, 5 nights at the Bellagio and 2 tickets to a cirque du soleil for a little more than the price of a flight). I'm sure if we paid full price for the hotel the visit would have been less than stellar. We were on the 11th floor, high enough to be quiet enough and low enough to be reasonably priced.

Bellagio: Spectacular facility but sorely lacking in service.

The "Guinness Book" record for the largest chocolate fountain. Neat, and the confectionary place it's in is fascinating. The botanical gardens (although small) are over the top. The casino is giant and exceedingly nice. The buffet is excellent but expensive. The buffet lines can be prohibitively long at dinner. As has been said, despite have twenty-plus front desk people the wait to check in is significant (saw MUCH worse at Luxor). We found the staff to be indifferent to guest needs (except the buffet staff was alright). This really made an impression on us. Don't expect customer care at all at the Bellagio. The rooms are very, very nice if that's important to you. Don't miss the Grand Ballroom! Even if you don't stay there!

I recenctly stayeed at the Bellagio from June 30th to July 3rd, 2009. When you first get to the hotel all you could say is wow! The complaints from other reviews about this hotel are from people that are either cheap or way to picky!

The staff was was very helpful during the check-in process and the layout of the hotel is great. The casino was smoky just like any other casino on the strip so it wasn't unbearable. This place is really well kept and is extremely classy considering other hotels on the strip.

The penthouse suite was well worth the money spent. It was very spacious and accomidating. You can't beat the his and her bathrooms and the TV's in the bathrooms. The view was't spectacular but who cares. I didnt stay for that, if I needed a view I could walk outside.

There is so much in this hotel you really didnt need to leave the grounds. Now if you are into shopping you might want to leave the grounds. There are nothing but luxury brands to choose from. Everything from the conservatory to the pool area was great. There is nothing to complain about with this hotel.

I was really amazed at the fountain display. Its amazing to watch the fountains coordinate to the song playing at the time. This was one of the main attractions at this hotel. When those fountains go off people stop what they are doing just to see.

It was a great stay at the Bellagio and hopefully I will have the cash to go back, lol!!!

The Bellagio is great for many reasons but two remain obvious: the property is stunning and the staff are top rate. This place makes you feel pampered.

Re the gym crowd, the facility is packed with plenty of Cybex equipment, free weights, treadmills, stair-step trainers and stationary bikes (some even have programmable video trails). There are even spin cycle classes several mornings with Dustin, a great instructor.
