We stayed at the Bellagio for 4 nights in June. Hubby attended a Tech Conference, so I tagged along. The hotel is very nice, but the rooms were very plain and the hot tub was lacking. We upgraded to a fountain view for $50 per night and it is soooo worth it!! Even if you only do it for one night. I requested to be on a higher floor and the clerk was very nice to honor my request. We ended up on the 24th floor. The only bad I can say, is it seems like there were long and slow lines for everything at the hotel: the concierge, check-out, check-in, to pick up "O" tickets (should have seperate line for hotel guests), and restaurants. I was not the only one who noticed this as I overheard others commenting on long lines for everything within the hotel. Other than that, I highly reccommend this hotel.

Spent three nights here in June, arriving Friday the 19th. We were placed in room 26-644 of the Spa Tower with a fountain view. We were originally sent to the wrong room and had to trek back to the front desk to correct the problem, they applied a $25 credit to our bill for the trouble. The room was nice but dark, even with all the lights on it seemed dark. The air conditioner could not keep the room cool, it hovered at about 78 degrees the entire stay. The shower did not maintain a constant temperature, floating between lukewarm and hot no matter how long your shower. The view was nice but a room in the main building would have been better for watching the fountains. It appears the rooms have not been updated in a while and could use it at this point. But for our $115 a night player's club rate it was all still nice enough. Besides the room itself we found the staff very friendly and pleasant, the public areas clean and attractive, the restaurants were excellent, and the fountains and pool were tremendous. We would be happy to stay here again at the right price.

This was our second trip to Vegas but our first stay at the Bellagio and hopefully it won't be the last.

When we arrived they was a slight queue for check in but we were soon served and in our room on the 21st floor. We were told it was a partial lake view room but we could see all the fountains and a good chunk of the Strip with no problem at all. The room was fab, clean and comfy and had everything we needed and the housekeeping staff were always about keeping the rooms clean etc. The turndown service was a great touch, nice to come back after a night out to a room with dimmed light and the mellow music channel playing.

Everywhere else we went in the hotel the service was wonderful, everyone was very pleasant and polite. I can highly recommend a trip to the Spa, yes its expensive but its worth it. The lobby area does get very busy indeed especially at the weekend/evening time but we just used to go down earlier or later if we wanted to take any pictures without too many hassles. We ate at the Pool Cafe and Cafe Bellagio, both of which were very nice indeed. We also went to the Fontana Bar a couple of times, get there early if you want to sit on the Terrace, if not sit inside later in the evening and see the fab band that play.

All in all it was a great trip and neither of us can wait to go back to Vegas and have another stay at the Bellagio.

Huge room, overlooking the strip!!!! Really was something else...

Room was immaculate, huge bathroom, impecable service. Loved it all. Stayed for 10 days over New Years, so we were often the only ones by the pool (mid 60's- coming from Scotland this is warm!). So very quiet and peaceful, think in the summer it is crazy busy.

Great shopping near by (Caesars Palace shops) and so much to see - never quite understood the whole "you visit hotels" concept that I heard about but really, that is what you do & it is great!!! Venetian, MGM, New York New York etc etc. The show a Treasure Island a bit ropey (gyrating girls!) a bit ropey, but otherwise all amazing.

The all you can eat buffets are insane - the cafe in the Luxor was great. You can pick what you want, but share with your travel companions, portions are tooooo big. That's my only "complaint" - it is so wasteful.

Day trips - red Rock Canyon and the Grand Canyon. Both fantastic.

Evening - we went to Cirque du Soleil which was unbelieveable...

Fantastic place, ENJOY!!!

Oh and we didn't gamble at all...

Stayed 3 nights...fri, sat, and sun. 17th floor standard room with a fountain view. It seems expensive is the only requirement for "luxury"....it IS expensive...but its not luxury....its really just a standard hotel room with mechanical drapes and a big marble covered bathroom with a nice glass shower. Thats it. Small flat screen CRT tv, worn carpet, flattened out cheap pillowtop bed, burned out light bulbs, sink that wont drain, dirty blankets... definitely showing its age. The hallway noise was incredibly loud....ive stayed in quieter Super 8s. People talking outside sound like they are in your room. You can hear doors up and down the hall at all hours.....they slam like a bomb going off...(good for security...bad for sleeping in). My biggest complaint was the mini-bar attendant who insisted on knocking not once but twice then walking in on us while we napped.....(privacy sign was on the door...front desk didnt care when we mentioned it on checkout). Overall....will never stay again nor recommend it as there are perfectly nice rooms elswhere for less money. The comments on the snack bar/mini bar are true....look at it wrong and charges show up on your bill...and the snacks are like everything else in this place.....premium priced ordinary. They had us billed for $50 in extra charges for things we never touched. Dont be fooled by the hype.....its quite an average hotel hidiing behind expensive pricing as a label for "luxury". Worth half of what they charge at best.
